Apple and google maps have the opportunity to create folders for different locations. It’ll be nice since I have saved places for: friend’s house, clinic appointments, frequent shopping places, and other categories. It can a folder icon under our current saved places that opens up.

It blows my mind that this isn’t even being considered. This is such a basic feature that really easily implement provides a significant improvement to the user experience, yet for years this feature has been ignored.

I agree very much! I literally started looking for help and feedback to write a suggestion for this idea. I travel a lot and I love saving places to come back. But it started ti become a mess. This is a big big need!

so what's on your road map, if such an important requirement to keep track of saved places organized is not on your roadmap?
what about having an option to open google map directions from Google search results in Waze, even this is not in your roadmap?

To be able to customize save folders for different activities addresses, eg: rinks, golf courses etc.

As I use Waze all the time, I have quite a few saved places, but unfortunately, apart from the possibility of ordering them in the list, there's no way of subdividing the list.
The ability to create sub-directories within the list, or to create personal categories and link a saved location to them, would be a great help.
A search in the saved locations would also be a plus.

My waze is sprawling with locations that I find it hard to find things fast.
We need a way to organize the locations.
Like the existing Home. Home has its own clear folder and not jumbled up among all sorts of locations.

I would like to suggest other folders like "City" or "Beaches" or "Cinemas". I can place all my shops and locations that I frequent to inside it.

At the moment I have to look through a whole list to find it. Horrible!

Would like to be able to Alphabetize save places list as well as Categorise them from places I travel to, Like NYC and Puerto Rico, with Sub Folders as well. Sure beats scrolling through hundreds of save places and places saved showing up in counties your not even close to.

I have a fixed delivery route I fill up racks in cafes and cinemas I have to stop 35 places.
