Ability to disable "Red Light Camera" voice alerts.
Turning off "Speed Camera Alerts" & all other alerts under settings does not disable Red Light Camera voice alerts.
Please add a toggle to settings to turn Red Light Camera voice alerts off. Pleeeeeeeeeeease.....

Just like you can turn off speed camera notifications/reports and railroad reports, I'd like to also turn off red light camera reports. I know where they all are and I don't need to be told about right cameras in two minutes 😂

As a truck driver, these alerts are great for us. A lot of times trucks are broken down or other passenger type vehicles. A law in any state I have traveled, is for drivers to move over to allow the disabled vehicles room for repairs/towing and to be able to do so safely without worrying about drivers who aren’t paying attention to crash into them. If you’ve never needed to repair your vehicle on the side of the road, good for you. But, add semi’s that are 80,000 lbs of rolling steel, usually at speeds of 70mph, plus all the texting drivers or dangerous weather, etc and it is extremely dangerous as you all speed by. Yes, it happens every day, without varying weather conditions too. Again, as a truck driver, move over and let these vehicles have the space the law asks for. While I see this is distracting, it is needed for most drivers. Not in every instance is the vehicle completely on the shoulder and not every shoulder has a lot of space when your back is turned changing tires etc.

Red Light Camera warnings should be optional. It is distracting and unnecessary.

I would like to be able to disable specific voice alerts. For example, I don’t care about stopped cars but do care about police and objects in the road.

Seriously, my house is surrounded by these. I do not understand why this is the only notification I cannot disable. I have all other notifications disabled to enjoy my music while being navigated.

Please let users disable ‘vehicle on shoulder’ audio alert - it a nuisance an big cities like Atlanta where constantly interrupts our music

It was foggy on the way to work today. So every mile or two for 45 minutes I got a fog alert. It would be great if you could press and hold Thanks! to get another option for muting Fog alerts (or whatever) for 5, 15, 30, 60 minutes. That way you acknowledge the alert and mute them for a certain period of time. This would apply to construction and other alerts also.

Yeah, I can't use Waze in areas with red light cameras because of how annoying it is. Ridiculous. Such a simple change to make.

Been telling you FUCKING MORONS to disable this for YEARS!!! It’s an easy fix!! Just do it!!!

I use maps because of this... And keep checking back every 6mo or so to see if it is fixed... Nice to see a couple years later they still haven't fixed it.. SMH

The red light camera is the most annoying stuff when you use Waze. Why can you turn off speed camera alert and can not do the same with red camera alert? This is almost a bug. If you do not want to take it out, please resize the window used for alerts, the most important information is covered by this usefulness alert.

Very very selfish idea if your going same way every day why need waze res light ahead helps everyone with audio you need pints on license then you will wont return

Have a mode where Waze will display alerts in a large red box with large letters on the screen(s) and possibly a short beep, but will not interrupt the music volume. Alerts will still attract the driver's attention, but will allow the music to carry on with the DJ. :)

Vehicle on shoulder ahead gets extremely annoying especially on long drives - it would be nice to mute this alert

Turned off all voice alerts as they annoy me when listening to music but for some reason I had 3 consecutive voice alerts for Red Light Cameras. WTF. I googled this issue & found out that Waze users around the world have had the same issue since 2013 & Waze have refused to fix the issue. Waze says turn off Speed cameras to fix but that does not work & there should be a seperate on/off switch for Red Light Cameras anyway. Would be the perfect app if not for this issue. Please fix.

Pls allow turning off red light camera notifications. When on many highways red light cameras go off because they are in the town not hwy

All the other things we can customize in this app and this isn't one of them? It's ridiculous. It's basic programming 101.
