Earlier turn notifications!! What is going on with the last-second turn notification? if you aren't already turning then you are screwed.

We need to ALWAYS have the "turn after next" shown in map mode.
for example: Turn left on street X in .5 miles and then SOMETIMES below that we will see then turn right on avenue ABC in .2 miles.

What triggers the turn after next? Sometimes we see/hear it...sometimes we don't. It should ALWAYS be visible and audible be it .1 miles or 100 miles.
Way too many times I have missed the "next" turn because by the time it recognizes turn 1 is complete that I have passed turn 2.

This makes me look bad as a rideshare driver because it is impossible to drive efficiently having to make many U-turns, or even dangerous if I need to jump over 2-3 lanes when a more advanced notice would prevent this.

So please if this cannot be done - please explain to us why.

I love waze with a few exceptions. I wish when it gave directions to turn it would state the street name like my Garmin does. In other words instead of saying turn right in a quarter mile, say turn right on Main Street in a quarter mile as that helps when there are multiple streets in the area.

I also wish waze gave me a little bit more notice on turns as sometimes it's a little late if there's a lot of traffic and lane changes are difficult.

The last item that would help is when you have two turns in short succession I wish it would do like the Garmin does and say turn right on Main Street then turn left giving you an indication that right after that right, you're going to be making a left very quickly. Keep up the great work in trying to make a great app even better.

I had several problems because the advice to turn was said late, just when I was crossing the street. I think you could work in improve the estimation of the position or simply send the notification to "turn now" few seconds erlier

I've been using this app as of recent. I have religiously used Google maps. Until a couple of months ago. So, I strongly recommend 1 thing. I myself personally, would love to see this change. That we get prompt alot sooner, especially on the highway. Like a at 3 miles prior to exit, notify the driver the exits coming. And 3 warnings prior to exiting would be awesome. Any time the driver needs to turn , it would be helpful to know in advance. Some of us drive in extremely busy roads or highways. We don't want to look at a 5" screen, anymore then we need to. Maybe it's just me, but I've missed several turns and exits, because I wasn't notified soon enough.

When the apps tells the driver to take a different route to get from A to B, tell us why. I've had cases where I ignored the advice, took my usual route, and saw no reason why Waze suggested a strange route. I've had others where I learned too late there was a crash, traffic light out, etc.

Tell us why we're given a new route because we don't know if there's a reason or the app is just acting wonky.

I have noticed that the instructions are read out way too late. This is especially obvious if I'm following an unfamiliar route.

I totaly agree. I pass exits all the time. The voice coach is warning for round abouts so early and frequently and should do the same for exits.

Give more notice to drivers for a direction. Often I am not given enough notice of a turning or action. A few hundred feet isn't enough notice in heavy traffic.

Directions Earlier. I can't tell you how many times i have missed my turn because Waze does NOT prompt you until your at turn destination.

Most of the people don't know how to evaluate distances by meters.
Like getting instructions from passengers -"Turn to the right(left) on the second/third...street from now...".
It is much more easier to count streets/intersection then trying to estimate meters or reading hidden street names or getting the "turn now" in the last second (happens a lot)

I have the same problem, please alert me to turn earlier so I will not miss my turn, even adding another second earlier will make a big different.

In addition to stating distance, such as "in 200 meters, turn right", state also interim intersections. E.g., "In 200 meters, the at the first turn after the traffic light, turn right". While this verbal information is available visually on the map, it is very useful when driving in a new/complicated area, and helps overcome errors in waze/driver's distance estimates.

It would be nice to know that my next turn is coming up a lot sooner. It seems like it tells me to turn when I pass the turn

Suddenly, the warnings about lane changes come too late, and the voice changed. Please bring back the old voice, and give us more warning when we have to move from the left lane all the way to the right to exit.

Waze REALLY needs to give an announcement 1 mile before your next turn/exit & again at half mile when on a freeway/highway.
Often when on side streets Waze may not alert me to turn at all or give me only 20-30ft of notice & I miss the turn.
Also, announcing the name of the street when you need to turn would be very helpful!

On freeways the voice prompt should start at least one mile in advanCe
