Problem pushing directions bluetooth from android to car speakers
Waze has been my fav for a long time because it pushed spoken directions from all my iPhones to the car speakers via bluetooth. It seemed to do this by tricking my radio (Kenwood) into thinking a call was coming through. Pretty crafty. But since the latest iPhone update that messed up other things regarding bluetooth, Ive gotten an android phone. Now the waze app on android won't push spoken directions to the car speakers when the radio is set on (radio). It seems like a big safety issue since when in the car its hard to hear the little phone speaker and then I'm looking at the phone instead of the road. I'm hoping there's a fix coming soon or maybe there's something i'm not figuring out? insidentally,The interruption of the music momentarily during turn instructions is necessary and shouldn't be seen as agrevating.

My waze was working perfectly on my new Galaxy S7 until I paired it with my Jabra portable speaker. I wish someone could solve this as I use Waze all the time!

I have the same problem with a LG G3: phone calls are heard via car's BT system, but WAZE isn't.

My WAZE had given me perfect voice commands on my 2013 Cadillac XTS speakers via my Samsung S4 for two years. Last week WAZE directions stopped coming over speakers and is now only over my S4 speaker, which is too low. Yes, I still hear Pandora and phone calls via car speakers, so it is properly paired. I have re-booted phone, turned off car ignition, un-installed WAZE and then re-installed, re-PAIRED S4 to car....more than once. I have checked and unchecked "Play sound to phone speaker," the volume is turned up on phone and car. Please help.
