The fact that there is no speed camera alert at any speed is a disgrace! I am sticking with my cyclops app for now at least!

Since Waze application presents the driving speed + the allowed speed, I suggest to add a buzzer capability that will be activated in case the driving speed exceeds the allowed speed.

Such vocal alert will assist the driver in being aware that the driving speed is illegal. This way Waze will contribute not only to safety but will let the driver be careful and avoid speed reports.

I suggest to add another feature to the above capability: to let the driver set 2 buzzers – the first one if the driving speed exceeds the allowed speed by up to 5%, and a second buzzer if driving
speed exceeds the allowed speed by over 5%. (5% should be settable by the user via Waze configuration menu).

Please advise if you like it, and if your development team will make it become real.

This is a great idea we think waze is excellent and were drawn to it because of the suggetion that it alerted you to up and comming speed cameras. But to have just an on screen message that a speed camera is near catches me out as I'm not looking at the screen so a voice alert would be great.

Recently, the warning (audible) for speed cameras was disabled when you're under the limit of the road. Unfortunately, it's quite possible to get faster in between. The warning on the screen remains, but it's not enough in my opinion.

Add the option to set specific sounds from the phone's notification sound files for specific alerts. e.g. set a specific notification sound for the over speed limit alert

I was suprisd to find this is not configurable. If I have the music up loud (not even loud) it is too easy to miss the speed and cameral alerts
