O motorista tem que ficar olhando constantemente para a tela e ver piscando o local do radar, isso tira muito a atenção.

Avisar radares e sua velocidade através de aviso sonoro para não tirar a atenção do motorista pelo menos 400 metros antes e não apenas quando estiver no limite da velocidade.

There is no alert sound for speed cams on android auto if you drive less then the max speed. Situation: i accelerate 100meters before a speedcam = ticket :( i will make a mod for it if you don't change it soon

See this request all over the web but dont see Waze addressing it.
Love the app .. but also using second device just for the audible speed camera alert !

buenos días les escribo desde Bogota Colombia.... en nuestras calles, de estas ciudad como en muchas otras hay gran cantidad de huecos (cráteres) policías costados.. baches, hundimientos. en fin vías en mal estado deberían agregar a los iconos....de peligro... este tipo de señales para así no acabar con los rines, aros,, y no se exploten las llantas.. y la suspensión del carro...este tipo de aviso deberían ser sonoros como advertencia antes de llegar a esos sitios...... como me ocurrió a mi......... también al llegar al sitio donde uno se dirige debería decir llegaste a tu destino... derecha o izquierda.... muchas gracias y que tengan un feliz día

This doesn't seem like a very difficult programming thing to do. I don't want ANY alerts expect Cops and Route changes.

I suggest adding an audible alarm when approaching a speed radar. There is a visual alarm but one must be permanently looking at the screen to perceive it. Even that alarm could be configurable for those who prefer not to listen to it.

It is VERY common that after the voice warning, at least for a while, you fluctuate your speed over. In Brazil there are plenty of important highways where you are forced to be under 60km/h dozens of times in short tracts.

Voice-warning of speed control cameras should occur not just once (500m before) but at least twice (e.g.200m before) and it must ocur irrespective of your own speed (not just when you are over).

This would be a very useful function, and the notification should be dependent on the decrement of the limit, e.g. if the limit drops from 75 to 60 than 150 yards ahead, if 75 to 55 than 200 yards etc...

Give options to set warnings below the limit, not just on or above.

Just trying out Waze today and not happy with the way it alerts speed and red light cameras.

A red light camera just showed up as a camera on the screen, and another had a flashing blue circle around it.

There was no audible warning and I can't find a setting to enable one.

If this is the default behaviour, I reckon it's useless. No-one drives with their eyes glued to the navi screen, so there is effectively no warning.

I live in Brazil, in the city of São Paulo and I use Waze a lot.
Here in São Paulo there are many speed cameras and the fines are very frequent.
My sugestion:
I wish Waze would let me know whenever I had a radar, regardless of my speed. In this way I have the possibility of memorizing the places and thus avoid fines.
This problem of speeding in São Paulo is very big and if Waze could increase, improve warnings and alerts, it would help us a lot.

If i am driving in low speed (20 kph) (traffic jam), it makes no sence to alert for speed camera.
Since wase knows my speed, it can use this information to decide.
