Mute re-routing sound
The constant re-routing sound waze makes when I choose not to take the exact route she wants me to, or because I kiss a turn is loud in my Bluetooth and even though I have the sound turned down its still annoying. I know she is going to re-route me so I don't need that loud Beep she makes. No other GPS device does this. If we could please have an option to mute this, then that would be amazing. Thanks.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

As someone using Waze to navigate away from my house, I'd like to have a way to silence navigation sounds for the next 5 minutes, so I can skip prompts in areas I know well.

I have seen other GPS do this where you can chose the distance it warns you, and how the warning at that distance is: silence=no warning, a beep, or the voice. That would be really nice.

Yep, Minimal is not really minimal. It's very noisy. Minimal should be renamed or add another step down like "wake me". I want to be able to drive along and be alerted at the turn i but not at .5 miles, .25 miles, 500 feet, 100 feet, 50 feet.... Just tell me the turn is coming up and be quiet. Betterstill, might be a special sound dedicated to the turn. Let me just hear the ding.

Consider adding an explicit notification when Waze reroutes you based on a traffic delay. I still get enough unusual routings that I sometimes ignore Waze's directions if I know where I'm going, because I assume it might just be due to a wonky map issue. But if it would come up with an explicit message that said "A new route has been plotted due to traffic delay ahead", I would be much more likely to follow the alternate route.

Right now users can Mute and Unmute from the Navigation Menu. Instead of offering this option, how about turn that button into a toggle between Full/Minimal/None guidance. Really the only reason I mute navigation is because I'm heading home and don't need full guidance (and my fiance gets annoyed lol). But I'd still like to hear alerts. When it comes to minimal guidance, I prefer it still say the street name, but only tell me when I'm suppose to turn and not warn me 1-2 times before approaching the turn.

Moving to the other forum, just realized this is the wrong one.
