Voice command reports
Sending reports using short voice commands. For example: "waze danger car side of the road"
Great news! Reporting a vehicle on the side of the road using voice is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

It is dangerous for Wazers to report incidents on the road while driving. Therefore, handsfree reporting should be added to our country.

On Report under Traffic add a Stop Go or Start option for traffic that is stopping and starting on a route, This would allow users to report traffic that is moving but heavy.

I think you should have a picture of road side rests to.alert travelers. It would be helpful especially if one is closed down and you can see ahead of time how far the next one is

When using hands free more times than not it is unresponsive it can't hear the command. It doesn't matter if using speaker, bluetooth, or hard wire headset. Very frustrating. Would like the hands free to be more reliable, or trainable.

Waze is the best app for everything you need to drive safe on the road, it's the best! but I was thinking of a good idea for posting stuff like police, traffic, instead of typing it with your hands (what is not safe sometimes), you should post it with your voice and it should come up on the screen like: "there's is cop on the road" something like that thanks so much!

Reporting police traps and even confirming would be better if it could be done by voice.

Currently the traffic jam icons clutter the screen. Suggest using the traffic jam reports to color code the roads (Red=standstill, Orange=Heavy, Yellow=Moderate) and DON'T show the individual traffic reports. This will make the screen much easier to read

I would like hazards to require a voice response for confirmation, e.g. if Waze reports a hazard, once I have passed the reported location, as me for a yes or no on if hazard was present. That way you will be able to remove hazards that are no longer there, faster. I get way to many false or no longer valid reports of police and vehicle stopped on shoulder, and when driving you need to voice respond, plus the dialog box disappears.

Map markers should indicate what they are there for without having to click on them. For example, Heavy traffic could be indicated by three cars on the marker, light traffic by one, and standstill by five. Hazards could also be displayed with a cone for construction, clouds with rain, snow, etc.

I would like to be able to hit my Bluetooth headset to initiate the activation for voice commands rather than having to reach for the phone that I have mounted on the windshield. It would be a lot safer and not so obvious when reporting a speed trap or camera, especially if police are around.

So totally wholeheartedly agree! As an Area Manager, it is useless to get "General Error" requests from drivers that have no meaningful information attached to them. Since one SHOULDN'T expect the driver to type anything while driving, there should be a "click & record" ability that then should be accessible on the editor. Such a button does exist already for traffic reports, so why not for map error reports.

Phone-fascism is a state issue. Not all states treat citizens like criminals/imbeciles.

Waze would be terrific if it could be controlled exclusively by voice .
Like reporting a radar with just saying :
'' Report Radar Now '' the system knows
already the direction-location -

Many map errors reports have little or no description, as it requires too much dirver atention.
If the the user to record an audio description, which can be downloaded/listened to/transcribed in Cartouche.
