Police on the move and what side
Police on the move: I would put an option on the police spotter that shows moving/same side or moving/other side of the road. The app can see what direction/side the motorist is on, it would be a simple change to show that the police are moving on your side or other.

Please allow a user to tag the highway patrol (Z) and set (Z) in the direction of traffic at (X + A) miles per hour, where X is the speed of traffic and A is an accelerator (+5mph, +10mph, etc) set by the user. This will approximate the location of Z (highway patrol) and if Z approaches a Waze user, an alarm will sound “Police approaching”. The location of Z will be recalculated once a user hits “like”... give or take a few seconds (times the speed of forward moving traffic). Should enough users hit an option “Not in site”, Z will be removed…probably because the cop has exited or has pulled over.
Revenue generation: When a user hits “like”, offer the option for them to make a donation ($1, $5, $100, etc), any amount that is far less than the speeding ticket they would have received.

Would love to be able to easily tell others which side of the road an accident or "object in the road" is on. It would be so helpful when you are stopped in a long line of traffic because of an accident, to know which lane is closed or blocked.

Police reporting needs to be enhanced. Should include the following: Stationary, Stationary someone pulled over, Moving (and direction of moving)
- IF moving the object should move with time in the direction of travel at the listed current speed of the road.
All objects should "dim" with age. New objects bright, as the object ages/moves it should become more transparent. -

If we could post police that were traveling in the same direction or the opposite direction of your own travel it would be useful.

Generally you find yourself stuck behind a police car on the highways once they may be doing the legal limit and holding up the flow of traffic.
Why not allow an option that allows you to share your location showing you as a moving police car, allowing traffic in both directions to keep tabs on this police car.
You will probably need a 5 minute reminder confirm you are still tailing the police car to avoid incorrect reporting. -

When entering the location of police have "on the move" option and have ways use avg traffic speed to track where police should be now not just where he was when first spotted.

The current method of "hidden" vs "visible" is pointless. The hidden should be "hidden/stopped" and "visible" should be "moving, my current direction & speed" plus "moving, my speed +20mph"

Allow users to post police moving in traffic not only parked

With the Police moving option, Waze should be able to keep that reported police car's location updated by considering the speed of traffic. This would make the report much more accurate.

Can there be an option when reporting police as to whether they are parked or moving.

It will be very useful to all tone able to report moving police too! I understand that when we report we watch put for the area but it will be great to show moving cars!

I agree with this.
How I do it now, it report a police officer being visible.

I see a lot of moving cars and it would be useful to have a way to indicate this

Yes. Just add arrows to click like you can click on visible or hidden currently.
Forward (up) arrow equals the direction you are traveling. Down arrow indicates police on other side of freeway. Would be nice to see the police icon on WAZE and know which side of the freeway the cop is on. -

When reporting the presence of the Police, the only options are hidden or visible. There should be an "In Transit" option that follows the direction of traffic that you are moving in for at least 2 miles. This would be helpful to all Wazers.
