Apple Carplay without Waze to use on it is not adding safety while driving. Maybe i would be a smart thing to do from Apple to do so and make driving a nice experience, my daughter has an Lenovo P2 Android Phone an she can use Waze on my Android Auto but i cannot on my Aplle Carplay in the same car!!

The screen interaction with my phone has SUBSTANTIALLY increased since purchasing a car with CarPlay. Counterintuitive fro the imtendes purpose of improving saftey. Allowing Waze visibility on dash would be a vast improvement to CarPlay. Saftey is obviously one of the main concerns that CarPlay was designed for. Not allowing Waze to show on dash screen decreases safety and efficiency of CarPlay. The current set up is actually makes the vehicle more dangerous with the use of CarPlay. As Voice from Waze is allowed, I still use the app for navigation. It truly is a life changing app and far surpasses other navigation apps. While using CarPlay, if I mess with an app that is supported by CarPlay, (podcast, pandora, phone, messages, etc) I must toggle my iPhone screen BACK to Waze.

Waze on CarPlay - I beg you

Like Android Auto, Apple has there own version called Apple CarPlay. It would be really nice to be able to use Waze on Apple CarPlay. I do not understand what the big hold up for implementing this on Apple CarPlay. It should have been done the same time as Android Auto. I really wish I could use Waze in my car but I refuse to because it's too dangerous to be glancing back and forth between the road and my phone. So I just end up using Apple maps or the onboard navigation, both of which need some work.

Need Android Auto integration! I have a new vehicle with Android Auto and really need Waze on there!

This is the best suggestion in the system. We need and want a single app when driving. Android Auto should be that app. Google Maps with the addition of Waze reporting and alerts solves all my driving needs. Since Google now owns Waze, this is s no-brainer

I find this a very good option. I encourage the Wake team to make it compatible with Android Auto, now that most of the new cars come with it integrated in the multimedia system.

Almost 2 years since this suggestion started and still can't find any response or confirmation that waze is working on this. Not even an update on mirrorlink, come on Waze you are better than this
