How long more it will take to fix this bug?! Thos makes thos app practically unusable if we have to switch location services for waze on and off all the time...

Google maps and apples maps both use "while using" either figure out a way to so or I'm deleting the app. I dont need battery draining apps like this and I shouldnt have to actively turn off services just to save battery when I'm not using the app.

I have 3 iphones. None of them have an option 'in Waze' to turn off 'Location Change Reporting'. iOS 9.2.3 and Waze 4.9.0.

i was excited to switch to waze, then after installing i noticed that there is no option for "while using". I uninstalled right away and will use google maps until this option is added to waze.

As a previous post said this has to do with the settings on waze not the phone. Log into waze, go to settings (on waze, not the setting on the phone- you can hit the magnifying glass to search and you will see the icon for "settings" in the top left), general, and turn off "Location Change Reporting". Give it a minute and the arrow and geofencing goes away.

Please add back a 'while using' Location option for Waze.

I wonder why my battery drain so fast and I realize that it was due to the location services for Waze always on and no more while using. I rather swift to other app that not drain up my battery power.

this bug seems to come and go with various releases, when it comes I abandon waze for a few months, then come back and see if it's fixed

Been using Waze everyday and have diagnosed this location services issue to be the reason for my data usage going through the roof and draining my battery. No need to have my location when i don't have the app active. If you want to have a location feature when you park your car, then you should add an option to be able to drop a pin when you park. you can then find the pin when you open the app again.

Going to stop using this app until the change is made to allow "while using" option in location services. Back to Google maps i go!

Waze offers power saver settings, and the always use location feature allows the app to target when you've parked your car

I find Waze to be incredibly helpful, but refuse to use this until this is changed.
