"Location services" for waze to be on "while using" instead of "always"
In your next update pls could you change "location services" for waze to be on "while using" instead of "always" as it is draining the battery. Apple suggested this will be one big saving on battery life.

Yes give us the option as we want to keep using waze but we want the power to control when the locations services are used.

I have been a big fan of Waze for years. I have forced my coworkers and friends to get onboard with this great tool. I don't know if it is the version of Waze or the version of iOS but the location services always on even when app is closed is deal breaker for me. I'm sadly becoming a friend of plain old google maps instead. Is there hope for Waze to fix this???

To save being tracked all the time I have to change from always to never. Used it on Saturday then switched back to never. Since then iOS updated now can't find Waze in settings to switch back to always.

Three long time Waze users in my household, and we're all sick of Waze recently draining our batteries. Until this is fixed, we're no longer Waze users, simple as that.

Dear Waze, u have awesome navigation but I really have to say the gps on always is really consume a lot battery from my phone. If u change it back to while using app then I really appreciate.

Getting ready to go back to G-Maps. Why does it take you so long to make this requested change. Unless you make more money selling tracking data.

When did this update happen? The app used to have a "while using" feature for GPS. Like many many others have said my battery is being killed too. I will be looking for a better navigation app if something does not change soon.,
