Browse Categories
When I used Apple Car Play, I could select catagory and then find nearby gas station, drive thrus, shopping centres etc. With Andriod Auto, I only have the option for nearby gas stations and I can't search for the other nearby categories such as drive thru resteraunt.

Signaler patrouilleur autoroutes
Il y a beaucoup de patrouilleurs d'autoroutes qui risquent leur vie en faisant leur travail.
Pourrait on équiper les véhicules des sociétés d'autoroute qui sont arrêtés sur la bande d'arrêt d'urgence de quelque chose qui signale automatiquement leur présence.
Quitte à passer un accord avec les sociétés d'autoroutes pour équiper leurs véhicules.

Link Driving Mode to Waze
When I get in the car driving mode is now an option but Google assistant doesn't actually seem to know who I am. If I say Drive me home it doesn't know where home is... Telling Google is pointless as I live in France and all my language settings are in English so it doesn't understand.

Bubble android auto
Hello,
I use Waze for my work.
On the touch screen of the car, when I press on a road it is highlighted in blue but the bubble to press "GO" does not appear as on the smartphone application.

Cancel the waypoint option (not the whole trip)
At the moment adding only 1 waypoint is possible. On android auto, pressing "x" removes the whole route. It doesn't even offer the choice of canceling waypoint or cancel the whole trip.

Stop limit for 1 intermediate stop (waypoints)
More than "one stop" limit on the route. At the moment you can set only 1 stop on my route.
I like to use waze for motorcycle trips, often a loop, staring at home, finishing at home.
Also if you have a route reset and you want to add a petrol station, it doesn't let you.
Allow more waypoint options. Much more than 12 votes -
Product Gap
Limiting routes to only one stop is a major usability gap—most navigation apps support multiple stops, and this is a basic expectation, especially for Android Auto users.
Also, the inability to edit destinations after adding a stop and the lack of address visibility for saved contacts are functional limitations, not feature requests.
This impacts real-world usage like errands, deliveries, or multi-stop trips. It reduces Waze’s practicality compared to competitors.
Please confirm if these are actively being worked on or planned. Redirecting to the suggestion box doesn’t resolve the current usability problems.

Recent change has made reporting more difficult when using a selection wheel in Android Auto
Previously, rotating the selection wheel (non-touch screen operation) when on the map display all the way to the right would select the report icon and stop there. Since a recent update, it instead loops back to the first icon and goes through the selection again.
However, turning the scroll wheel all the way to the left still stops at the first icon and doesn't loop back around.
The previous operation made reporting things much easier, as it was possible to select the report icon by rotating the selection wheel to the right without having to look at the screen to…2 votes -

Enregistrer le lieu ou la position GPS par pression continue sur l'écran
Il serait judicieux de pouvoir enregistrer le lieu ou la position GPS de l'endroit où l'on se trouve afin de pouvoir l'utiliser plus tard comme lieu registré ou favoris.
Cet enregistrement pourrait se faire par pression continue sur l'écran Androïd Auto ou sur l'écran du Smartphone/Iphone.2 votes -
Allow users to choose to display routes on their Phone instead forcing on the Android Auto
Allow users to choose whether to use their phone as Waze for routes or Android Auto as the main display, instead of forcing it to display on Android Auto. Some people want to stream music using Android Auto and use their phones to see directions, as it doesn't distract them from the road. Some head units in cars are positioned lower from the direction of the road and are more of a hassle to look at while driving.

Adjust the location of alerts
In Android Auto, whenever an alert appears, it hides the search buttons, alternative routes, sound, and especially the button to create an alert. This means you have to close the alert to access the create alert button. This wastes time creating the alert and makes it unsafe, as this additional step distracts the driver.
One suggestion is to have alerts appear below the traffic directions without pushing the interface to the right.

Bring back the passenger exception
I use android auto and my wife copilots using her phone. Now she cannot use her phone to scan for places to stop or check for obstacles especially in an rv. Waze is now useless for road trips. Back to another map because waze is the only one w this restriction.

Malheureusement la mise à jour fait que sur les anciennes voitures comme la mienne qui est une Jetta 2016 avec un écran un peu plus petit j'ai maintenant de la misère lire le nom des sorties c'était beaucoup mieux avant pourquoi ne pas avoir deux versions d'interface une pour les nouveaux écrans qui sont beaucoup plus grands et une pour les anciens qui en plus n'ont pas besoin d'être en haute définition donc les images ne prendront pas beaucoup de place dans le fichier APK

Make text clearer
In android auto, smaller text on the map is barely readable due to it not having anti aliasing and the text isnt even aligned correctly, so every letter has a 1-2 pixel height difference, and the text is also jittery.
Please, fix this. In google maps, it renders really well even on lower resolution displays.2 votes -
Waze on Android Auto drains battery even when charging unlike Google Maps
Device: Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
Android version: 15, One UI 7.0
Waze version: 5.10.0.2
Car setup: Android Auto, 15W fast chargingIssue:
When using Waze with Android Auto and YouTube Music, my phone battery drains even while connected to fast charging (15W charging is displayed).When I switch to Google Maps under the exact same setup, my phone charges normally and the battery level increases as expected.
This suggests that Waze is consuming more power than necessary on Android Auto. Please investigate and optimize Waze performance/battery efficiency for this scenario.

Option to not have WAZE auto start on Android Auto. I don't need/want WAZE if i'm making short around town trips.
Many times if I'm going to be making short round-town errands, I don't really need WAZE. A simple option that would save on battery utilization and charge cycles. WAZE should initialize only when I run the app. This would extend the battery life and reduce the number of charge cycles thereby extending battery wear. You're SOL if you forget your charging cable.
