Change notification buttons from horizontal to vertical so they are side by side. "Still there" on the left and "Not there" on the right.
Change notification buttons from horizontal to vertical so they are side by side. "Still there" on the left and "Not there" on the right.
It is difficult to select the button because to the up and down motion of the car when using Android Auto. Making the "still there" and "not there" side by side would make it easier to select and less likely to accidentally cancel a report.2 votes -

Deveria ser possível ter as mesmas funções do telemóvel, no Android auto/carplay. Dá imenso jeito, por exemplo, enviar cortes de estrada, buracos na via, novos sentidos de trânsito, etc...

Controls on phone when using android auto or carplay
I'm a waze user paired with android auto device. I think it would be alot better if you are able to make it so you can control waze with your mobile device and see the map with android auto, google maps started doing this and it feels like waze is missing this opportunity. It would be great if you can end drives, start drives, see turns up ahead on the phone while using AA while the main map is displayed on AA

HUD Distance Rounding
For cars with HUD/secondary display on cluster, the distance to next turn is always rounded. (15.8 miles show up as 16 miles, 12.4 miles show up as 12 miles)
This make sense when the distance is further away (over 10 miles), but when we are closer (< 10 miles), the rounding could be confusing. For example, 1.4, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, 1, 0.9, 0.8, 0.7, 0.6, 0.5 mile all shows up as 1 mile, and 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1 mile show up as 0 mile (until unit switch to feet).

Toll Price Update on Driving
When navigating with toll roads, can we update the toll price display after exiting the toll section? For example, if the route contains two separate toll section, after exiting the first one, the toll display should show the remaining price, and after exiting the second and last toll section, remove the price display?
Currently the toll price display never get updated throughout the drive so it will say the full price even when we are near destination (unless there is a re-routing in the background)2 votes -
Waze no telemóvel e Android auto ao mesmo tempo.
Por que não consigo usar o Waze no meu telemóvel e na tela do android auto ao mesmo tempo.?
Por exemplo do Google Maps, eu uso ele no ecrã do carro e também consigo abrir no telemóvel para digitar endereço e consultar rotas.
Já o Waze só me deixa usar o teclado do telemóvel para digitar, para mim é ridículo.2 votes -

Speed that i should travel to reach from point A to B
I would like to see a feature that calculates the optimal travel speed that i should go from point A to point B, based on a specified arrival time at point B. Additionally, if the vehicle exceeds the maximum allowed speed, it should emit a continuous beep, similar to existing safety mechanisms.
This can see the block up ahead and do the math calculation and suggest us at what speed we should travel.

Have Android auto function like apple car play
When you connect to apple car play you can see the upcoming turns on the phone. When Android auto is connected Waze doesn't let you see anything on the phone and says to do everything on the car display. This is frustrating because there's no way to see past the next upcoming turn for android auto.

Android Auto alerts highly intrusive, even dangerous
[On a knob-controlled UI]
Popups like “Police ahead”, and “vehicle on shoulder ahead” can be very intrusive. They seem to appear much earlier than before and there is no way to simply dismiss it without confirming or negating the alert. I would suggest that hitting the “Back” button should dismiss the alert.Responding to the alert is way too involved. When I get an alert, the “Still there” button is highlighted, however it is not the selected control. Usually, the Search button is. So, it looks like I can just click my knob to confirm the alert, but when I…

"Categories" issue in app / AA
Tapping the Where to? search field brings up another Where to? search filed, under which it shows the "Saved" "Gas" etc. menu. This menu of "Categories" is badly organized/sequenced: seems to me that during a drive the most important order of locations would be "Gas" "Parking" perhaps "EV Charging" and "Hotels", followed by Food Drive-thru Coffee Groceries Medical care Pharmacies, and finally Shopping and Parks. The fact that in Android Auto only the first of those categories show compounds the problem. Suggestion: have a more logical sequence and show all of them in AA, and/or let the user arrange them…

GPS availability recheck
When connected to Android Auto while phone's GPS is not turned on, Waze does not recognize, that GPS is turned on later and it is needed to disconnect from Android Auto and connect again. I would appreciate if Waze could somehow re-check GPS availability. Button, touch, time period...
Typical case: GPS is turned off in the phone. It is turned on automatically by the routine when phone detects car's bluetooth or wifi. When Waze starts earlier then GPS is turned on, it is impossible to use it. Thank you.2 votes -
No cambia modo noche en automático
La aplicación es muy buena, pero desde hace un tiempo no se cambia a modo oscuro ajustes esta en automático y por la noche, lo he probado también por el modo según teléfono y tampoco, en el teléfono si que cambia, pero en el coche no. Y hace dos semanas cuando supero el limite de velocidad lo marca en pantalla pero el sonido dejó de funcionar. Me avisa de radares en casi todos los sitios por voz y en pantalla pero los de la A7 solo por pantalla y no por voz. Repito me gusta esta aplicación.

Relocate speed trap notifications in Android Auto
When navigating a route on Waze for Android Auto, speed trap notifications overlap with the distance and time-to-destination information. This is a problem because in large cities we have speed traps with very short distances, which means that one of the main pieces of information is usually hidden from the driver. I suggest relocating these notifications so that the time to destination is always visible.
