Amélioration de la Sécurité
Probleme sur l’aspect sécurité pas réellement pris en compte avec Android auto
Auparavant le curseur ou action était directement positionné sur la validation d’un message et le reste du temps sur le bouton permettant de prévenir d’un danger.
Par défaut le curseur est sur Recherche qui plus est avec un peu de soleil dans la figure est très difficile à déplacer sur l'action voulue (a minima l’entourer de jaune ou autre couleur pour le voir).
Du coup je ne valide plus rien car je suis obligé de quitter des yeux la route et je trouve celà trop dangereux.Donc la…

Aviso na tela de radar deveria desaparecer imediatamente após a passagem pelo mesmo
O aviso de radar mostrado na tela, mesmo após a passagem pelo radar continua aparecendo num tipo de contagem regressiva. Isso é desnecessário já que o radar já ficou para trás. Em alguns locais temos que virar em alguma rua logo após o radar e o aviso atrapalha as informações.

Приложение установлено на официальный Самсунг S-23. Телефон ещё на гарантии. Всё работает корректно. Подключён по проводной соединения к VW Tuareg 2023. Авто так же официальное и на гарантии. Ехал из Киева в Одессу и обратно. В итоге 2 штрафа за превышение скорости. И я чётко помню эти места. Приложение выдаёт какую-то странную информацию, что это "место/участок снижения скорости". До какого значения снижать? Зачем? На карте не обозначены камеры. Приложение устно так же в этих местах не оповещает о наличии стационарных камер фотофиксации. И потом в одном месте камера на мгновение появилась на карте…1 vote -

The road signs show the exit numbers in the green aesthetic boxes but it's hard to see on android auto as it's small and negligible, hindering driving.

Android Auto issue started roughly a number of months ago
Usually on my car display, Waze icon shows up by default along with Google Maps when I plug my phone into the car. Now it doesn't. I have to start the waze app on the phone for the icon to appear on my car display. I use a 2021 Toyota Corolla LE. Also when I try to use Waze on my car screen, when I use the Uber driver app along side it, Waze freezes saying "kill" the app or "wait" as choices.
Either chosen option, the app doesn't work on the car display. I was wondering what the issue…

Popup
Hazards and speed camera pop-ups are blocking/obscuring the lane guidance in Android Auto. Please redesign and make it smaller or move it somewhere else. It's dangerous as drivers have to keep dismissing and closing the dialogue pop-up

There's a known bug of this and I was directed here by support.
I have found a work around to get Waze navigation to work on the vehicle display through Android Auto.
These steps, in this order, will allow Waze navigation to function on the vehicle display. The steps must be performed each time the phone connects to the vehicle. So switching from wireless Android Auto to wired and vice versa will require following the steps again. All steps are performed on the vehicle display unit, not on the phone.
- Open Google Maps on the vehicle.

When backing out of destination leave screen there instead of moving back to arrow. Like google maps
When in Google maps if you type in an address and then cancel the trip, the screen will stay there. I do this for pinpointing areas, with waze the screen resets to your position after backing/canceling a trip.

Fix the phone overheating issue
Let me explain the background on this. I've been happily using Waze with AA in my car for several years. All of a sudden, mid Feb 2024, my phone is overheating, sometimes before I even leave my driveway! I added a utility to my phone to troubleshoot and what I discovered is atrocious. This started right around Feb 19th. Whenever I have Waze running in the car, Google Maps is also running in background. highway shields too small in Android Auto
Under navigation instructions, the highway shields is too small to read the highway number in it. I'm having difficulty to see which highway I'm transitioning next. Often I need to get closer to the screen to see the number. Not very safe to do so. Please make it bigger...or make the highway number as text instead of graphic.

Movable cursor in Waze, using AA, when typing name (of contact) for location/route
When typing a name (contact in available contactlist on phone, restaurant, ...) you can have sometimes the case you typed wrong, forgot a letter in the beginning, ... . At the moment, you have to use the back space key and start partially/all over again. If one should have a movable cursor (as on your phone), you can put the cursor wherever you need it to be (eg. at the beginning of the input text), correct or type (an) additional character(s) and ready you are. Please get rid of the black buttons. The black buttons are awful. Hard to believe iOS users have a better UI than Android users when Waze and Android are owned by Google

AVOID WARNING OF NEED TO TURN THE LIGHTS ON WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY ON.
When using via Android-Auto, the vehicle's lights status is already recognized for switching between day and night display mode. You can use this knowledge of the lights status to avoid warning of the need to turn on lights when the lights are already on, and alert only when they are switched off.
