Alertas de proximidad Radares de Velocidad
Estaria bueno que con los radares de velocidad, a medidad que se vaya aproximando si se excede la velocidad haya una alarma de alerta bits como en los sensores de estacionamiento, normalente el aviso esta antes pero por diferentes temas no siempre se esta atento y no hya un recordatorio del mismo

Hello. As I travel around the USA on the interstate highway system , there are “Rest Areas” that can be exited to. Many a time, usually because of large trucks & traffic, I do not see the “Rest Area Ahead” signs and consequentially miss the “Rest Area” exit. It would be a nice convenience if WAZE could announce “Rest Area 2 Miles Ahead”. Thank You.

Massive upgrade
ok so I basically came up with his whole idea alone when that guy went on a rampage down in Bondi Sydney and start the whole bunch of people and killed them In the shopping centre I remember watching 60 minutes after and a number of offices were saying that they had no idea of what was going on they had multiple false and misleading information that there was more than one person when that was not the case so I thought you know what if the creators of waze came up with this would of changed everything the amount…

Allow to select which alerts we do want - allowed speeding (+/- 5km/h), police and speed-cams, etc.
Currently we either have all alerts or none.
The problem is, we get alerts like: reduced zone ahead, or if "speeding" so traveling 1-2km/h above.
So I have alerts disabled, but then I neither get important alerts.Allow to select us which alerts we want:
1. speedig - yes/no/yes, if exceeds N km/h
2. reduced speed zone ahead
3. police and speedcams
4. other dangers (potholes, roadkill, car stopped)

Sound alert on/off toggle for re-routing notifications
I am a professional heavy vehicle driver and use Waze constantly. As only one additional stop is allowed, I take numerous side trips off my set designated route. The constant rerouting sound is quite annoying and personally, I dont need to be notified audibly that I am leaving the nominated route and would like the option to turn it off when not needed.

It would be helpful to remind drivers with handicap permits to place them on the rearview mirror once a destination is reached.

Sugestão de atualização no aplicativo – com base em relato de visitantes
Esta sugestão é baseada em relatos de visitantes do município que estavam em deslocamento com destino ao Parque das Nascentes. Segundo o relato de uma visitante, ocorrido no dia de ontem, o aplicativo Waze indicou um acesso considerado mais rápido, passando pela Transpetro (Estrada da Petrobras). No entanto, o trajeto se mostrou bastante complicado, difícil e inseguro, gerando transtornos durante o percurso.
O relato foi feito como um adendo, reforçando a importância de alertar os usuários sobre esse acesso, a fim de evitar que outros visitantes passem pela mesma situação.
Diante disso, sugerimos que o aplicativo seja atualizado com informações…

Update camera alerts
Hi Waze team,
I’ve noticed that some of the new speed cameras in Romania appear on the map but don't trigger any alerts or warnings while driving. It would be really helpful if these cameras could be included in future updates so that drivers can receive proper notifications. Thanks a lot!1 vote -
Please change urgently the Pot hole confirmation
Please remove the confirmation of the pot hole Is it there? And leave only the Remove button. It can cause accident! By being focused on confirming the pothole you enter in the pothole or badly you enter in the care from the other side trying to avoid the pothole in the last minute! The pot hole will be there till the authorities will fix it so please take out the confirmation button!!!

Crash
I would like Waze to send push notifications about reported accidents even when navigation has not started yet.
Currently Waze only alerts drivers about accidents during active navigation. However, many professional drivers (taxi drivers, couriers, delivery drivers, etc.) check traffic conditions before departure to plan safer and faster routes.
Suggested feature:
Allow users to receive accident alerts in advance within a configurable radius (similar to the existing distance-based alert settings). This would help drivers:
• Plan routes before starting navigation
• Avoid dangerous or blocked areas early
• Reduce congestion and delays
• Improve road safety

Alerta de Perigo (Danger Alert): Ofuscamento Solar / Sun Glare Hazard Alert
O Problema (The Problem):
Nas rodovias, durante o nascer e o pôr do sol, a luz solar incide diretamente na visão dos motoristas (ofuscamento). Isso reduz drasticamente a visibilidade, causando cegueira momentânea e aumentando o risco de colisões graves, atropelamentos e saídas de pista. Atualmente, o Waze avisa sobre neblina e chuva, mas ignora o sol forte.
(On highways, during sunrise and sunset, sunlight hits drivers' eyes directly (sun glare). This drastically reduces visibility, causing momentary blindness and increasing the risk of severe collisions. Currently, Waze warns about fog and rain but ignores dangerous sun glare.)

WE NEED HELP IN NY !!! They have now instituted a Camera Ticket System on the School Buses Like Red Light Cameras! Sometimes you can't even see the School Buses that are Parallel to you and they will charge $250-$275 per ticket. PLEASE HELP QUICKLY ! I think All WAZE users rely on you guys dearly to help us everyday!

Police report aprox 15km in advance
I suggest reporting to the police about 15 km in advance because they hide the radar several km behind and Waze notifies you in fewer km being too late. Announcing about 15 km in advance helps you be more cautious until you reach the police crew

Sharing phone accelerometer data as an early warning to slow
Imagine being able to see around corners to know that someone has just braked really hard up ahead
or swerved lanes? Waze could collect acceleration data and use it as an early warning to cars behind.The DriveScore app uses the same phone accelerometer data to provide personal driving style feedback to the owner. But wouldn't it be so much better to share it with the cars nearby?
As an example, if every driver in lane 3 of a motorway is slowing, changing lanes then speeding up again at the same static location, there will likely be a common cause…

With increased distractions in traffic, whether due to high driver concentration or the use of loud music, the approach of an ambulance responding to an emergency often goes unnoticed. In light of this, it would be extremely useful if Waze offered a feature capable of alerting drivers to the passage of an ambulance on a rescue mission. The proposal consists of a visually striking, flashing, full-screen alert that would only disappear after user confirmation via a button. Add a “Leaving parking spot” community report
Waze already has a strong community reporting culture for traffic, hazards and police. A similar approach could be used for parking. When a user is parked, there could be a simple optional button like “I’m leaving this spot”. After confirmation, Waze would mark that location as recently vacated and show it to nearby drivers for a short time window (e.g. 5–10 minutes) and within a limited radius. This would be a community-driven signal, not a guaranteed or legal parking spot, similar to other crowdsourced reports in Waze. Integración alertas vehículo detenido de baliza obligatoria DGT V-16 en navegación WAZE
En España ya es obligatorio que todos los vehículos dispongan de una baliza V-16. En caso de que esta baliza se active, automáticamente envía una alerta a los sistemas de la DGT, con la posición del vehículo detenido. Sería más que interesante integrar esta información, de acceso público, automáticamente en la app WAZE; para alertar automáticamente de un vehículo detenido en cuanto una baliza así lo indique. De esta forma, cualquiera que esté utilizando el navegador dispondrá de esta información de antemano.
