Always show map with North pointing up for 2D display mode ONLY.
Currently, the map display option to display the map with north pointing up affects both the 2D and 3D modes. 3D mode becomes useless with north always pointing up, so an option for the setting to only affect the 2D map would be welcome.

Option to always revert and lock 2D map to 'north up'.
When in auto-switching map mode, just browsing the map in 2D mode does not keep North pointing up on the map. It would be great to have an option to always keep the 2D map displayed with north pointing up.

Display traffic jam time delay on the map.
When browsing the map, Waze currently only shows the average movement speed of traffic jams. Perhaps show this as average time spent in the traffic jam, or estimated time to pass through the traffic jam, instead?

Bug? After reaching destination while navigating, the map display is stuck in 3D 'driving mode' instead of reverting to 2D 'overview' mode.
With the 'auto' map display option enabled, which switches between 2D (when stationary) and 3D (when driving) modes, after a destination has been reached while navigating a route, the map display is stuck in 3D mode and does not switch back to 2D mode.
This makes it difficult to browse the map and select another route destination and only restarting the app solves the issue.1 vote -
I have two suggestions
If there is an animal by the side of the road, then you should be able to quickly add that to a map so that other drivers could benefit from that information before they drove by.
After you leave a particular spot, you are no longer allowed to offer warnings or other relevant information that other drivers would benefit from. Case in point: I wanted to comment that there was a rabbit by the side of our road so that other drivers would become aware of that animal before they drove by. Decrease black info areas left & right
Decrease black box size on top and bottom left of screen, t they take up too much space on small screens in autos

Schuko connectors
In the electric car options, web cannot choose the schuko connectors, and it's used by a lot of electric motorbikes, even when can find public connexions on the street.
Electric vehicles includes motorbikes too.

Better display
So when the map shows an exit number it is highlighted in the upper right of the map. The problem is the color is hard to see, it is too small. Can you please make the exit number larger with a brighter color in the background.

Legend too small to read
Mostly brilliant but some things annoy such as the motorway or road sign next to turn off being so small it can't be read from drivers seat without binoculars. I can send in photo examples. Could you also make option not to take complex detour to not save 1 minute wait ... Fix that you'll get 5 stars

Notre position pour le dépannage
Serait-il possible d’obtenir longitude et latitude de de notre position pour le depannage et de pouvoir rechercher l’endroit avec ces nombres. En voyageant et traversant plusieurs états et villes, il n’est pas toujours facile de donner notre position précise. Cela permettrait au centres d’aide de nous situé au plus facilement au lieu d’expliquer approximativement notre position. Merci et bravo Waze

Pro actively show Charge infrastructure in the maps -> now you really have to dig, visualize it in the amps
Pro actively highlight (FAST) charge and destination charge infrastructure, for both current EV drivers and prospective. I use Waze for navigation, but don’t want to switch to other apps.
Also mentioned your “gamification” positively as example to policymakers, to make the energy transition and switch to EV’s fun.
Also a function with your current CO2 footprint of distance travelled and a comparison function to EV?

Map direction color
it would be a good idea to have a different color route where we’re taking compared to the route around us. Sometimes it’s very confusing what route we’re supposed to take. Both are usually purple . Ours should be like a cyan color compared to the routes in the map.

Go back to old map display
Please go back to the old map display at night. The new one is terrible to navigate.The side roads are the same color as the route you are taking as well as any adjacent waterways. It is really distracting.
