  1. View a larger area of the map on phone while driving.

    Please give the option to view a larger area of the map while driving. When on auto-zoom it's really close and you cannot see the road at least a few miles ahead.

  2. Floating window on exit

    Would like Waze to implement "floating" window on exit. Or atleast have pop up notification of the next direction, like Google maps has. When I close out Waze, I have no way of knowing the next step unless I reopen app.

  3. Fontsize wazer preference adjust.

    Why not to implement a way do adjust the fontsize? Very small to read even in a 10" multimedia device.
    Street names and speed are unreadable while driving.

  4. Add More Car Icons

    I would like to see more options for car icons. Rather than Waze spending time creating the icons, Waze could provide specifications for icons and users could then create and upload their own car icons. A handheld GPS unit I used to have had this capability. It was great to be able to select things like the U.S.S. Enterprise, or Defiant, or Enterprise-E, or Airwolf, or K.I.T.T... or whatever users could come up with.

    Add icon for emergency responders. Currently have a fire truck, would be nice to see Ambulance car, Police car and an Ambulance

  6. Flock camera system license plate reader locations

    Allow users to map locations of police automatic license plate readers and select routes that avoids them.

    The Flock automatic license plate readers are now in over 2500 cities in the United States and track 1 billion vehicles per month per their website. They are able to detect the color of your car, wether or not part of your plate is obscured, if the registered owner has a valid drivers license, is a gang member, known drug smuggler, has an active warrant and other such information. Flock sells these to home owners association's and other private entities besides law enforcement.…

  7. Hide My Waze/Where to bars

    Make an option to hide My Waze/Where to? bars by default.
    No, contrary to what you PMs/Dev folks keep saying, these bars do NOT hide themselves.
    This is a show stopper. I cannot use the app like this, nor can most of us.
    Provide an option to start with those bars hidden and accessible by a swipe up from the bottom.
    Yes, I know this is a duplicate; but, y'all aren't listening to.your users about a P1 issue.

  8. Making Waze better

    The waze need to improve the maps better specially when u take the exit and showing wich lane to stay in roundabout and the colour of the maps it's a bit bigger i went to wrong way once only because i didn't understand in wich lane to stay and i went in wrong way, google maps tomtom sygic and herewe go shows in wich lane go stay and the waze wich one has +100M people who downloaded the waze but y guys need to work more to add more options for the drivers and they not going to be confused…

  10. Truck routes

    Waze dev team,

    Please consider an option for drivers (Waze users) to enter in their vehicle height so that Waze can provide them with suitable routes, avoiding routes with low bridges/clearance?

    This would be applicable for truck drivers, tradespeople with work vans and work equipment on roof as well as casual drivers with trailers.

    Reason for this is to avoid the frequent low bridge collisions or congestion due to truck having to back out of road.

    In Australia, prior to GPS maps such as Waze or Google Maps, we used to have truck edition of paper maps or map books…

  12. Map Colour Choices

    The current WHITE or GREY map colour choices are awful and ******* the eyes. Having a nice beige or light green colour for landscape would greatly improve Waze, especially if the roads were white. But other users may prefer other colours, so I good range of map colours would be very beneficial.

  13. I vote for the route in the center of the screen on android car audio

    On android car radio the route is not in the center of the screen. Moreover - it is on the right side of the screen, at the maximum distance from the driver. It is very uncomfortable! Fix it please!

  14. Beginning of town (inhabited place) indication - for when to let off the gas in advance

    Indicate the next beginning of town somehow on the route.
    On the map and/or with info saying "beginning of town in 500m ... 400m ... 200m" etc.
    Or even just one popup saying "town in 300m".
    Or just with a marker on the map! That would also suffice.

    I have wanted this feature for years.
    Very hard to estimate when in an unknown area.
    For those of us mindful about eco driving, there is no point in pressing the gas pedal up until the sign and then braking suddenly from 90km/h to 50km/h.

    It would be nice to know when…

  16. Allow users to turn off points animation and sound

    The points animation feature and sound often blocks the map displayed temporarily in the bottom right corner. During the animation users can’t input another quick report until the animation finishes. User should be allowed the ability to turn off points animation, and the associated sound effect.

  18. Motorcycle mode view

    When using motorcycle mode it would be nice to have all the buttons on the left side since the left hand is the only one safe to use while riding. Also maybe personalize this view for motorcycle use, only when a motorcycle vehicle is selected.
