  1. Six essential functions when using apps on mobile phones

    Recommendations for the Waze app:
    1. Add setting item: Speed ​​adjustment is a slider from 0 to 15km/h to compensate for slower speed compared to reality due to gps latency

  2. CHANGE SPEED CAMERA AND RED LIGHT CAMERA ICONS BACK TO THE OLD ICON OR GIVE US THE OPTION TO CHOOSE.

    Waze changed the speed camera and red light camera icon on the map and it’s so much harder to see now.

    Just got a ticket for going 2 mph over the speed limit because I didn’t see the camera on my map

  4. Option to remove street name balloon labels

    The street name balloon annotations often get in the way of intersections/junctions, it makes navigating new junctions very difficult... Please provide an option to remove these balloons

  5. Battery Saver always on

    Option to have battery saver always-on by default. It's a poor user experience to have to set this manually for EVERY journey for those that want to have the battery as high as practitable before exiting the car and/or save their OLED screens from burning. Not everyone uses a charger in the car. And most phones use OLED screens.

    'Automatically turn on' is there as an option, but it waits for battery to become low before kicking in, which rather defeats the object of saving battery (it's too late if it's already become low!) and meanwile you risk burning the…

  6. I’m retired; I never want to see work appear as a destination choice under home again!

    I’ve worked 40 years and I just retired. I love Waze, but I never want to see the word work appear again when I program in a destination and the app will not allow me to delete it and merely leave home showing! I don’t want work to appear as an option, even if its left blank. I want it gone!

    It’s a big psychological step to be able to do this, wouldn’t you agree?

  9. Refined UI

    This may not pertain to most people, but for those of you who use the Waze app in the landscape view may have similar issues. First of all, the alert box for train crossings and red light cameras takes up approximately 40% of the bottom of the screen, as well as the direction arrows information covers the speed display. Some of the other icons are piled on top of each other. If the UI were to be more like the Android auto version of Waze or Gmaps it would be much better and easier to use.

  10. Display toll price along with Toll Hazard

    The idea would be applicable for users approaching toll booths. My suggestion is to display the toll price at the same time the Toll Hazard is displayed.

  11. Updated alternate route feature.

    My account has been selected to use the updated alternate route feature.

    Based on my experience, the UX/UI of the previous version is much better than the latest, I can easily compare the 3 routes on 1 page, but the updated alternative routes features require scrolling to do the comparison, I will need to remember the routes, total distance, arrival time before scrolling to the 2nd and 3rd route options for comparison and this defeat the purpose of the update?

    Sorry to say that I don't see the benefit of this updated alternate route option.

  13. Option to sort, and save, Favourites order

    Please, give us an option to sort our Favourites alphabetically and from the most recent to the older (and vice versa), and that change to be saved!

    It's 2024, someone already requested it (or something identical) in 2016 and Waze doesn't seem to care.

  14. Large boxes at bottom left and right for "not there" and "still there" options rather than small buttons to make them easier to press

    I often miss the buttons with my finger as they're too small on bumpy roads. Also, enable Google assistant commands "Hey Google, still there" or "hey Google, not there" to save having to press the buttons at all. Much safer whilst driving.

  15. interface for favorites

    interface update makes it so difficult to get to favorites. have to swipe up and inadvertently swipe around the map. have to click search then to get to favorites or saved places. so difficult

  16. Plan a drive screen should have a 'switch direction' option

    Sometimes the time I want to leave to a place in the morning will depend on the estimated traffic for when I return... It will be much easier to plan if you don't have to start a new drive plan for the opposite direction.

    I would like to be able to save more than 1 work address. I have 2 works and 1 saved in the saved tab but it would be nice to be able to save multiple addresses.

  18. Bring back a professional UI

    The new UI is awful. A regression, and this was already a kindergarden kitsch unprofessional UI, now with bad UX too. Bring back Waze 3.x with appropriate updates for new moods and features like the Euro plakette.
