Stop route button in landscape mode
Why is there no stop route button in landscape mode? It doesn't seem like to be a wise idea to not have all the same user interfaces as you do in portrait mode.

New interface changes are super uncomfortable and not user-friendly
Earlier to zoom out and check the route one needed to press in the bottom right corner. Now you need to tap on the screen, then press top left corner icon first and then zoom out or zoom in still in the right bottom corner. This is not good as you cover the screen with your hand while driving, and then need to make sure you will press the right button when moving all over the screen. Having these actions in the bottom left corner all together would cause much less friction.

Option to disable new message pop-up
Can you please give users the option to disable the pop-up when opening the app?
Active editors will look at replies to their messages while are editing the map.
Busy editors will reply to dozens of URs every day, and this pop-up is guaranteed to show every single time we open the app.

Lane guidance colour
The current lane guidance in Android Auto is shown such that the 1st line shows the upcoming lanes to take, and the 2nd line shows the next (i.e. then) guidance. Instead of taking up two lines, which takes up space, colour the most appropriate lane (s) in a different colour (green), and the least best lane in another colour (amber). For eg, if the upcoming highway exit is 3 lanes to the right, but the final edit is only the right most lane, colour the 3 arrows such that the right most is green, and the two other arrows in…

New UI prevents sleep after starting a drive
Sleep button used to be accessible via the bottom left menu. Now it’s inside the top right new UI which is not on screen (not clickable) when a drive is started…

Knowing the direction of the closure
Hi>
Why isn't the closure displayed in the app the same way it is on the Waze map editor?
We often encounter misleading reports where users believe the entire street is closed.
I believe it would be beneficial to add small arrows to the traffic closure, similar to those in the map editor, to indicate the direction of the closure.thanks!

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

More options for Home and Work places
From some time ago, I'm looking for an option to choose more than one place for "Home", but I can't find it. Also you can add extra options for places like work.

Larger fonts in black bar and for time and distance on bottom.
Waze should not require squinting and be VERY fast to scan. The real estate on the black top bar is underused and tiny time-distance fonts at the bottom are poor HID. Top bar should be more efficiently used or smaller (the result would be similar).

Letting users add a police location manually
Letting users add a police location manually. Not just from where they were when they clicked to add its location. If you know a location and cant currently add, you will not be able to add it another time unless you are on the same street and same place.

Plan a Drive Functionality
As many people are noting, the relocation of the Plan a drive feature in the cheeseburger menu is awful. In addition to that, if you make a change to anything within Plan a Drive, it then kicks you all the way back out so you have to click on the menu cheeseburger again, then click on Plan a Drive again, to do the next thing in Plan a Drive. Who thought this anti-intuitive, clunky process was good for users????

Add report button in Waze to mark location to look at later in WME
Add a report button or a togglable on-screen button to mark the current location which then can be viewed later in the Waze Map Editor.
Currently users need to either create a UR or take a screenshot in order to remember the location to look at later in the Waze Map Editor.

Close app on iPhone.
Go back to the old system of closing the app. Like many other people, I use my phone for directions and the recent changes are so annoying that I’m seriously thinking of removing the app. I could live with the annoyance of being automatically connected when I’m in my newer car via apple play - but now this is just backward to close the app via my iPhone.

Leave time on Home Screen
Whenever you plan a drive, always display the time to leave for the next planned drive(s) on the landing screen of waze. This already exists but the frequency of it being displayed on the Home Screen of the app seems random. Please consider having the leave time at a glance on the home screen whenever a drive is planned or allowing the user to toggle the box for always on, recommended on, or off. Thanks!

Revert your recent update
Your recent upgrade has brought my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.... Did you test this??? Or just release it and cross your fingers. As someone with experience in software upgrades and testing I would have been sacked for the mess now masquerading as Waze. It wasn't broken so Why??

Change the colors when speeding
The dark red on dark gray is difficult to read when speeding. I needed to use Waze as a speedometer while in Canada (KPH not MPH). And it was often difficult to read the speed.

Bangla local fonts

Current Update Moves Eyes Off Road
The new version works well with Android Auto Coolwalk, however: navigation buttons (i.e. routes) are now smaller and on the far top right corner, report button is now smaller and black and white instead of big and red. All this causes more eyes of the road, please review. Other than that like the work you're doing. Thanks!
