I would like to know if the road ahead of me has not had any waze drivers in the immediate past If there are no reports.
There should be a way of highlighting the map to warn of lack of recon (other waze drivers) in the previous 10 or 20 minutes for the road ahead. I would feel much more secure especially regarding police.

ETA Update
When there is a new ETA, there should be an option to 'speak' the new time so I do not have to look for the message that briefly displays.

add an option for Alternative fuel vehicles to be routed to HOV and HOT lanes since they are exempt
In the state of Georgia Alternative fuel vehicles are permanently exempt from HOV and HOT lane restrictions and as such they are a good option but waze has no way to know we electric folks are using HOV and HOT lane.

"wish list" points
Have you ever read a good article about some place, and decide to go there ... but it
s impossible to get there in short future. I was thinking to make some think like "wish list" of places where I would like to visit. Is similar to favorite places but not used so often. And the best would be the reminder that if you are riding xx (20) km form your “wish point” Waze would suggest you to visit it. I travel b bicycle a lot. And always trying to visit some interesting places about with one I wrote…6 votes -
Favorites should list locations by how close you are to them.
Hi my name is Emri I really like using waze on the road daily it makes my work really easy BUT the only reason I keep my old GPS around is so I can look into my favorites and see how far I am from where I am to different locations I need to visit so I know where to go 1st.
So I'm saying it would be great to see my favorite list show me that
X is 0.5 miles away
Y is 1.0 miles away
Z is 1.5 miles away

add prompt to go straight at intersection
at the moment, the default navigation of waze says nothing when you're supposed to go straight through an intersection. this is problematic in cases where after a long straight there are two intersections closely after one another and sometimes it is tough to guess how many '800/400/200metres' actually are, so you end up turning one turn too soon.

Show distance covered and time passed while driving
It would be great if waze can display the time passed and the distance i covered in km or miles since i started driving when my app is running. This can be optional and the distance covered display can be turned on and off using settings.

Notify when an accident is reported on my current route how far away it is
When an accident is reported on my current route, report how far I currently am from that accident so I can decide if I want to take an alternate route or if I am far enough away to decide if that accident has been cleared. Is there an option to report an accident has been cleared? That would be cool too . . .

Access to view live traffic cameras where available publicly on the internet like around Pittsburgh, PA..
In many cities there are traffic cameras posted on major routes. These are available over the internet and mobile phones so drivers can see live feeds. It would be great if Waze showed those along routes or on the maps so drivers can quickly view current conditions.
We should also be able to add these to the maps through the editor and link to the published URLs of the cameras.

Voice Instructions: Bear Right, Keep Right
Voice navigation instructions use "Keep Right (Left) in 2 conditions making it a bit confusing: When on an undivided road approaching a divided section of the same road, and when approaching an intersection with a gradual right (left) turn. "Bear Right (Left)" would be a more appropriate instruction for the 2d situation.

Add vehicle’s height
Hi
I think that adding a feature to your waze account where you can choose your car height would help you by driving in adjusted roads and driving eventually in a more accurated path5 votes -
Option to avoid a specific bridge.
I want to be able to avoid specific bridges (Chesapeake Bay Bridge). It would be nice to be able to avoid a specific section of road, either permanently or per drive.

Units and Alerts to be changed
Please add the function to change from Feet to Yards and to please always alert the driver of a speed camera with a sound.
Due to these reasons I do not use Waze, but with these features I would used it every day

Waze default navigation app for European iOS Users
Make WAZE able to be set as the default navigation app for ios 18.4.
Right now under "settings -> Apps -> Default apps -> Navigation" it only shows apple maps.

Route pour 50cm3 et voiturette

If there’s a road closure acknowledge it and recalculate a route
I get that you need several people to confirm theres an actual road closure but if I am the first there and I need an alternative route, it keeps sending me back to the closed road.

Convoy option
Be able to join a convoy with friends/family set a destination and everyone that is in the convoy can see the navigations and see what everyone’s ETA and where they are on the map
