  1. CUSTOM ROUTES AND ALERTS IN APPLE CAR PLAY

    I would like to record a custom route to an address and waze considers it in the calculation for the route. Often the routes provided are not the best, there are better routes. Customized routes saved by users who knew the best paths would be the most practical. At the end of the path, the user could save the path with some name. WAZE could put the same notifications that you have on your cell phone in the apple car play, such as prohibited via etc.

  3. Some report suggestions, vehicle options, route options for the Waze Team

    Just some ideas please address:

    • the thanks and not there options for apple car play to not automatically disappear until 2 miles approx. distance passed(or provide an option for the user to change that delay) beyond the reported icon there is some delay in when they appear

    • A new icon for the flooding hazard, as well as blueing a path to show on gps and gps to warn or detour upon suddenly appearing at some point in calculating route before after during etc

    • Allowing users start/ end of long traffic icon , include system detection for drivers…

  6. Waze needs a proper pinch to zoom

    Waze needs a proper pinch to zoom/unzoom. It really bugs me so much that I can not do that when it is a basic function on most Sat-Nav's these days.Little Plus and minus symbols are like something from the days of the first navigation retail units.
    i'm going to go back to Google Maps for now and check back every few weeks in the hope that it is implemented.
    If you are reading this and feel the same way as me, please make yourself heard and maybe we can get this changed.

    when you type a adress, the adress appear.. if you clik on, there 's no possibility to put the number you want... and then you must type the all
    adress with the number, if you want with number...
    my idea is allow to put the number after you have clik on the automatic adress..
    sorry my english is medium..

  9. meeting point by type

    I was driving one way A to B and a friend of mine the other way B to A and we deicded to meet up for cofee. Using the localisation of our phone we could follow each other and agreed on a meeting point but it would have been nice to be able to look for the midle point on waze and maybe search by type (gas station, restaurant etc...). Maybe having option like least detour for driver A or driver B or both etc....

  12. option to disable the theme suggestions

    option to disable the theme suggestions like Boy George, cats and dogs. Even when “no thanks” selected those themes keep coming back. Not everyone uses voice and want these options. Please make the option to disable those kinds of suggestions.

  13. Extra Opt-Out Box

    I'd like to suggest that the 'my waze' and 'where to' boxes that now automatically sit at the bottom of the screen have a opt-out check box in the display section. As they are most annoying when using Waze without needing or wanting to input a destination.

    In Apple CarPlay could you show 2-3 step by step instructions instead of just one? It’s helpful to know what move to make next after a turn or exit. Especially if it’s a quick turn in 25 feet or we need to move into another lane.

  16. Map UK police ANPR scanners

    I like to suggest that UK police ANPR scanners are crowd-mapped and potentially included as an option that one might like to avoid when navigating

    Background:
    Police have set up thousands of number plate scanners in the UK which record passing traffic including images of front passengers.

    These create motion profiles which are stored on non-public database regardless of suspicion or explicit consent with no right to view your own data).

    Camera locations are not published also even though ANPR cams are visible for people who know what they look like.

    WAZE could crack this lack of informational self-determination and…
