  1. weather and traffic on the same map. Inter-phase gps and weather radar. I am an avid boater and do it all the time.

    Common occurrence on the water. Weather overlay on GPS. Route, traffic and weather on the same screen.

  2. In Israeli maps, there is only an option to avoid A and B roads. I suggest adding C roads as well, as they are less safe and can be danger

  3. Add skip next turn

    You know when you are about to turn and there are two exits close to each other in a distance of 100m? When Waze says to turn right, you understand you turn right in the next exit, but sometimes you have to skip an exit and take the next, which are very close to each other and makes confusion. My idea is to add a sign under the turning symbol (in-app). When you are 300m away from the exit and there are two posible exits, it shows a turning symbol crossed (indicating you don't take that exit) and above it…

  4. Add some ai smarts to Waze in its route planning concerning road steepness and car loading condition

    I had to drive over Homestake Pass (an engine and transmission destroyer) in Montana while driving an old and overloaded car in July 2023. Your navigation program needs to have alternative routes built into it to choose from that are easier on a vehicle. I suggest you build that into the route planning. Use embedded AI if need be. If your software could ask the age and condition of the vehicle, it could using that information, suggest less troublesome routes. Am fortunate to be able to improvise.   5. Best self-rejection route

    Greetings,I would like to propose an idea to improve Waze navigation, which consists in Waze suggesting a better route during navigation but instead of automatically accepting it after a certain time, It would be much better if it deactivates after a certain time, because if a person has previously set an itinerary and while the Waze guide suggests a better itinerary and he wants to refuse it but he can't refuse it because he's driving.I hope this gets changed on Waze, thank you very much.Best regards

  6. Warn when your car enter a Restricted Zone in Cities per Car Emission Class

    In Spain, Europe, we have restrictions to go in with cars based on Euro Emission class. We normally know restrictions in the city we live, but not other cities ( more than 50.000 people), where fines are around 100 €, if your car not allowed enter a restricted zone.

    we can select a car (in my case I have more than one) and navigation will warn you when you enter a restricted area, even having in consideration this restriction for calculating routes.

  8. Convoy option

    Be able to join a convoy with friends/family set a destination and everyone that is in the convoy can see the navigations and see what everyone’s ETA and where they are on the map

    It would be nice if the next turn instruction can be synced to work with the Lexus heads up display. The OE navigation has the next turn displayed in the cluster and the heads up display but Waze only has it in the cluster. I wonder if Waze can also be synced with the HUD like the OE navigation.

  10. Which Side of the Road

    It would be nice if on our drive at with .5 miles or .2 miles you would notify us which side of the road the business (address) is on. We have many 2/3 and 4 lane roads and we can't get in the proper lane for the turn if we don't know which side of the road the address is on.

  12. Let us turn off AutoCorrect for Waze only

    Title. I was attempting to navigate to a street named Neff today. Auto correct turned it into Jeff, I believe. I am navigating while delivering, so tend to move quickly and could have missed this.

    Upon reviewing a Google search, it seems the only option is to turn off AutoCorrect for my entire phone. I don’t want it off for everything else. Please introduce a feature to turn off AutoCorrect for the Waze app only.

  13. Click into hazards on route during planned rides

    Currently, if you click into a planned route from the main page, it shows you where possible hazards along the journey are.

    However, it does not allow you to click into them to see what they are or when they were reported / any associated comments.

    It would be useful to be able to do this to know what is upcoming on the journey before I set out.

    Me tornei motorista de caminhão recentemente e identifiquei alguns itens faltantes para auxiliar em nossa navegação como por exemplo: indicativo de balança, vias não permitidas, peso do veículo além de altura e etc que ajudariam a mim e outros, acredito que muito, mesmo que tivéssemos que pagar uma taxa de uso, tipo uns R$20,00 pra ajudar o pessoal do desenvolvimento. Eu pago um app específico pra navegação com caminhão, mas o app tem muitas falhas. Nos ajudem. Beleza? Obrigado.

  15. Give us the option to select when we get rerouted

    It would be incredibly helpful if you could add something in settings where people have the option to select when to get rerouted based on how much time will be saved. I often do not use the reroute suggestions because when I get rerouted it's literally to save 3 minutes and usually by the time I've taken all the windy side streets to get back onto the highway I haven't actually saved those 3 minutes. It would be nice for me to have a feature where I can select an option to not be rerouted unless I'm going to save…

    Please add an optional toggle for destination pins to stay on screen after arriving. I find as a delivery driver that the pins disappear way to soon especially in dense buisiness/ residential areas then I have to open up different map program.

  18. Navigation by car type, fuel economy.

    Update vehicle types to EV, PHEV, Hybrid, Petrol and Diesel. Then show routes most economical based on vehicle types (mostly petrol, diesel and Hybrid).

  19. ZTL Zona verde roma

    Ho visto che Google Maps conosce i “confini” della Zone Verde di Roma, tant’è che quando si imposta un tragitto che attraversa questa zona appare un avviso che allerta di ciò, perche non introdurre questa cosa anche su Waze in modo tale da permettere a chi possiede veicoli che purtroppo non possono entrare in quella zona di evitarla e quindi non rischiare di pagare multe?
