Currently playing music shown on map
I use my phone to listen to music while driving (through Bluetooth) a lot of the time and I also use the screen of my phone to see what song is playing, I just thought it would be a cool thing for the app to tell you what song is playing on your phone while having the map open. I have seen other apps do this so I know it is possible.

צריך להודיע לפני שנכנסים לשכונה חרדית או דתית מאוד. נוצרים מצבים בהם אני בחורה, בגופייה, נכנסת עם המכונית לתוך שכונות שזה מאוד לא מתאים בהן ומקבלת תגובות בהתאם. לא מיותר לציין שהנסיעה בשכונות האלה בלאו הכי איטית ומלאה בעצירות פתע בשל אנשים שקופצים על הכביש, מה שמעלה את אי הנעימות עם המבטים והתגובות האגרסיביות

Ich finde, dass in Waze eine “gewichtsabhängige” Routenführung fehlt. Es werden immer mehr Straßen/Autobahnen auf Zeit/Dauer für Fahrzeuge über einem bestimmten Gewicht gesperrt,
Als erstes Beispiel möchte ich hier die A1 - Brücke über den Rhein bei Leverkusen nennen die für Fahrzeuge mit einem Gewicht von über 3,5t (auch leichteres Zugfahrzeug und Anhänger) absolut gesperrt ist. Hier kommt es immer wieder (täglich) zu mehrere Kilometer langen Staus.
Ein weiteres Beispiel ist die Verbindung A40/B1/A44 im Stadtgebiet von Dortmund (Zwischen den AK Dortmund-West (A40/A45) und AK Dortmund/Unna (A1/A44). Hier besteht in der Zeit von 22:00 Uhr bis 06:00 Uhr ein Durchfahrtverbot…

כאשר עומדים בצד הכביש ומפעילים מסלול לעיתים המסלול מראה את הכיוון ההפוף מזה שפני הרכב מכוונים. ממליץ להוסיף אפשרות לבחור שינוי כיוון והמסלול ישתנה בהתאם. לא תמיד ניתן לבצע פרסה

Express and local lanes
Problem: the GPS cannot precisely indicate which lane you are, if you are on express or local lane. This generates a risk to lead the driver to the wrong way since the driver will folllow what Waze says and cannot realize it's incorrect lane.
Solution: I have a solution to implement locally in the APP to distinguish if you are on local or express lane since the GPS cannot precisely indicate which lane you are.
The pseudo code is done and I can send to Google.

Report vehicle on shoulder of on/off ramp
If near an on/off ramp and reporting a vehicle on the shoulder, it should ask if the vehicle is on the shoulder of the highway or the ramp.

"Watch out, multiple alerts ahead"
If there was a vehicle stopped on road and a cop in the vicinity, Waze will only alert me of the cop. There should be multiple alerts that could be given to me at once.

Parking signs
As a resident of LA ive noticed when I park somewhere im always stressed about making sure i find the parking signs denoting street cleaning and any no parking times. I think its be awesome if users could take pictures of parking signs that pop up when someone is parking to be like HEY LOOK AT THIS SIGN BEFORE YOU GET OUT OF YOUR CAR AND FORGET TO LOOK AND GET A TICKET OR TOWED. Am i mark Zuckerberg now?

Use Google Home to provide departure alerts for scheduled events
I would like to be able to use Google Home to set a scheduled departure time and location, and have it notify me with a audio notification (via Google Home) when it's time to leave. This would allow me to freely move about my home without having to check my phone.

swing bridge
Hello. make the possibility of building the route, taking into account the bridges. St. Petersburg (Russia), it is true. in winter bridges are not diluted, but the program thinks that the bridges are divorced and build a detour route. Thank you for your program :)

flag or block bad directions like impossible lefts or straights
A button to flag a bad intersection or left turn; Waze can then remember and avoid it next time.

Double Screen mode
Waze does not allow double screen mode. It would be very simple and usefull !
Phone screens are getting bigger and you can even have a tablet in your car now. Double screen mode would allow users to use waze while having an eye on another app such as music, car parameters (dashcommand for example) or whatever they want !5 votes -
Better updating of fuel prices - petrolprices.com
As another post notes re Germany, in the UK there is a service, internet based mainly as the ios app doesn't seem to work now, which updates prices from fuel cards and is far more up-to-date. I love the interaction with other wazers but if there is a technology solution to really enhance the service then I think this should be incorporated. It doesn't look like Petrolprices.com is a big company so I am sure they would welcome an approach.

Section Control
In a lot of European countries you have speed-control via section-control, means:
the avgerage speed is measured of a certain distance by taking picture of car when entering and leaving the measuring section.
Unfortunatly currently you can not warn other users of such controls.
On contrary, such controls are only posted as stationary speed-control when entering, which is very misleading5 votes -

Search Suggestions
When performing search for any point of interest, Waze returns suggestions as you type. Those suggestions are presented in weirdest order. It doesn't show distance and sometimes can suggest location that is completely different state while in reality there is one close by.
