2. Apoyo a equipos de rescate y socorristas

   Hola buenas noches equipo de Waze, mi nombre es Juan Diego Castro y hago parte de Civicos Colombia, específicamente estamos operando en la ciudad de Bogotá. Nos dedicamos a atender siniestros viales, ya sea ayudando con señalización para evitar posibles accidentes derivados o atendiendo pacientes en dichos siniestros, somos y estamos capacitados como primeros respondedores, activando la cadena de vida entre otros. Waze para nosotros es de mucha ayuda ya que gracias a los reportes de usuarios podemos llegar al lugar de accidente y poder brindar la ayuda correspondiente. Escribo este correo porque para rescatistas como nosotros nos sería de mucha ayuda que Waze nos notificara directamente donde están saliendo los accidentes de tránsito para así podernos dirigir al lugar y prestar la ayuda lo más rápido que sea posible ya que en estos siniestros el tiempo es oro… normalmente lo que hacemos es esperar los casos por secretaría de salud , o revisar los reportes por Waze , pero es muy complicado estar buscando manualmente, por eso quisiera preguntarles que posibilidades habrían para ayudarnos a nosotros con esta labor usando esta aplicación que a los Colombianos los acompañan en sus viajes. 3. Simplify and organize the user reports

   The last major change to reports have been very confusing in a few ways.

   1. There are redundant and overlapping reports now. E.g. there is construction blocking the right lane. Do I report that as construction then go back and report right lane blocked?

   One option would be to change this to have a construction tab which would be other side, right lane, left lane, center lane, shoulder. Then the drivers would know where the construction is.

   1. Where did the ”Car stopped on road" report go? This is MUCH more important than the car on shoulder. If a car is disabled on the road then it's really nice to know that! Again this is possible overlap as you can. Say lane blocked but that isn't clear as to why. If its a 2 lane road, you have to put right lane blocked which isn't clear.

   2. Android auto reports do not match the app ones. Every time I've had a rental car with android auto I've noticed that the reports are more limited in AA than the app which is confusing as to why they are different in the first place.

   3. Another option would be to have a favorites and quick reporting for the most common instead of being distracted going thru menus for car on shoulder or police. Or even a gesture to do the most common.

   Subject: Suggestion for Improving Live Incident Communication on Waze

   Dear Waze Team,

   I’d like to suggest an improvement to enhance real-time communication between users when facing accidents, traffic jams, or road hazards. Currently, the comment section for reports is not very practical—it can be confusing, doesn’t receive much visibility, and isn’t as useful as it could be.

   A possible solution could be a feature that gathers and highlights comments from users in the affected area, making it easier for drivers ahead to both inform and respond to those approaching the traffic incident. This could create a real-time “news feed” where users share updates on ongoing situations, helping others better understand what’s happening before they reach the area.

   Additionally, Waze could leverage its own data—such as GPS speed and traffic flow—to validate user reports and increase reliability. This would not only make Waze an even more valuable source of real-time traffic information but also strengthen its community-driven aspect.

   A more intuitive and prominent interface for this kind of interaction could greatly benefit users, helping them make better driving decisions while fostering a more connected and helpful community.

8. Route editing

   Dear Waze
   I was a new user and since we live in the countryside, had not needed your app before today. But after trying for a while, (on your South African App), I simply could not design a travel route for my husband which included stops/petrolpoints.

   You CAN write this off as an "ignorant new user", or you could listen to my problem.

   I REALLY wanted to use your app and even downloaded it for my husband, but I simply could not figure out how to add stops to his route??? Eventually, I designed the route on Google Maps and shared it with him and myself via WhatsApp.

   But EVEN Google Maps let me down - they are travelling from Heroldsbay to Kroonstad in South Africa, and for the life of me, I had to zoom in SO MUCH just to get restaurants/fuelstops...it was just stupid!

   I would think that fuelstations/restaurants/rest stops would JUMP at the opportunity to advertise their place on Google Maps, yet, i was SORELY disappointed...

   Even if someone paid £1/month for advertising, it's still something? Can't you just BLOW THEM OUT OF THE WATER with something like this???

   I hope you can use my comment to improve your app, as I have ONLY heard fantastic things about it and it won't take much to be better than Maps at this point...

   Please - remember I was A FIRST TIME USER. And that I could not figure out how to add stops on my Samsung Galaxy - if you DO have this feature available, please make it easier to find for first time users?

   È possibile inserire oltre a vetture private e taxi anche i mezzi d'emergenza con la possibilità di inserire l'altezza massima? E inoltre per questa categoria escludere divieti e ztl.

10. Avoid Collisions

    Add AVOID COLLISIONS on the avoid list. Waze will send me a notification of a collision before my commute but still offers only routes that all take me past the collision. There are plenty of surface routes as an alternative to the freeway I usually take, but Waze won't use them. I would rather arrive at work 5-10 minutes late taking a surface street than 30 minutes late because of following the routes on the freeway with the collision(s).

11. Noise level limited db

    Hi, would it be possible to add to the maps ( Austria and Germany) sections where the sections are limited to a max noise level of 95db ?
    Resp when planning turn on / off avoiding these sections ?
    The necessary data is available from official sources.

    Dear Waze Team,

    I have been a dedicated Waze user for several years. Recently, I discovered that I could contribute by making map corrections when I tried to report a missing road. A Waze representative reached out to me online, I provided details, and within a couple of days, the road was added to the map. I truly appreciate this level of responsiveness and community engagement.

    I would like to propose a collaboration. I am the administrator of an off-road club in Azerbaijan, and we frequently travel across the country using old topographic maps that include roads not currently available in Waze. I can provide GPS tracks to help improve Waze’s mapping accuracy in remote and off-road areas.

15. Pause Google News from playing when Waze is talking.

    Waze is always talking over Google News. Very annoying. It would be much better to pause the News so things are not missed.

16. Spotify connection glitch

    Everytime I change song usually the name of the song/artist shows up on my screen. But for a few seconds with a bar showing how long it's going to stay for. Now it shows the song and artist name for 1FRAME. Legitimately a single frame. And no matter what troubleshooting I do nothing has changed.

17. Pimsleur compatibility with Waze

    Is it, or will it be possible to use Pimsleur in tandem with Waze. I can currently play Spotify and TuneIn but not Pimsleur. This would help productivity.
