What have you done with Kate? For a while, a second voice occasionally interrupted her flow; a wee while later, a second voice joined the annoying interruptions. Now, Waze claims to have fixed the issue – but that is that Kate’s voice is now completely different: deeper in tone, accented, drops Ts, and is really grating. I have tried the other two female voices, and don’t like either of them…which is why I chose Kate! Why has Waze limited the UK options to just three? The "Preferred fuel" should contain EV charging standards too (ChaDeMo, CCS, etc) and list EV chargers if set :) Thank you!
The car menu already provide relevant info if you set your preferred fuel, but it's only for ICE vehicles. Please add option for EV's, and if set, provide chargers as relevant information.

Speed Camera Audio Alerts should be User not Community Choice
It seems there is a lack of clarity regarding Speed Camera Audio Alerts and how they are triggered.
From what I can tell, audio alerts for speed cameras are a "community" choice, meaning that an audio alert will only be played given a number of conditions:
Depending on where you live - Your "community" decides what the threshold should be, that is if you are currently travelling at the speed limit or below, some communities will trigger the audio alert. Add Old Penelope voice as an option for Spanish. The new voice is soulless. I miss Penelope voice.
Give me back Penelopes’s old voice. New Penelope’s voice is boring and soulless. If new voice were of a real person, I’d say that this person is lazy and listless.

Lane select for object
Select lane by number. “ Object in lane three ahead”. That way if I’m in Lane one I don’t need to worry about it

Prefer fuel efficient routes settings
Similar to the setting on Google maps. Add prefer fuel efficient routes so that if a route is only a short amount of time slower but shorter / more efficient (less fuel use) that route is taken. For example a route that is 5 mins slower but 30 miles shorter would be preferable.

Time based lane guidance
Atm you can't set Lane Guidance based on time. Unfortunately this is an inconvenience in places like Melbourne, Victoria, Australia where certain lanes change depending on the time of the day.

use HN waze interpolation instead of google
We have several huge streets that make it difficult to place the house numbers, so I prefer to use interpolation by placing the house numbers in some meter intervals, but this change is usually not reflected because Waze prioritizes Google's interpolation over Waze's own data.
My suggestion is: Use Waze's interpolation when: The number is not mapped (there is no linked residential location and no house number) and there is a number greater than and less than the number searched for entered by an editor (not the automatic imported one)

Six essential functions when using apps on mobile phones
Recommendations for the Waze app:
1. Add setting item: Speed adjustment is a slider from 0 to 15km/h to compensate for slower speed compared to reality due to gps latency
2. Change the current speeding warning threshold setting menu to a slider with values from -20km/h to 20km/h so that users can choose the appropriate warning threshold for each need.
3. Add voice speed warning sound option
4. Add option to Repeat overspeed warning: (Off, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds…)

WME is trying to merge 2 pois that have the same name but different address
In the editor, it is sometimes necessary to create 2 pois with a distance between them of 50 meters or less. These pois have the same name but different addresses. When saving, the editor tries to merge the pois. It is necessary to check for attempts to merge not only the poi name, but also its address. If the addresses of the pois are different, then these are different pois, and not an attempt to create a duplicate.

Road closures
I'm a traffic flagger for a utility company. When I need to close a road, i can't do it unless I'm at the nearest intersection. How do I do this without being at that intersection, which may be a long distance from my work site.
Also, how can I open a road I've closed? Seems the next wazer has to open it; that's mot fair to other drivers. How can I open a road ive closed?6 votes -

Offer another option when there's heavy traffic on the freeway.
When on the freeway and there's heavy traffic, have Wave offer getting off the freeway and take side streets.
