Option to Ignore Automatic Traffic Rerouting for Motorbikes
Let motorbike riders stay on the original route even if Waze suggests a reroute. Constant rerouting can be distracting or unsafe when riding.6 votes -
ADD ICE ALERT NOTIFICATIONS
Using the immense network and crowd-sourced infrastructure already in place, please add an additional alert where users can add an ICE / Homeland Security sighting. Same functionality as current "police" or "hazard" with the "still there" or "not there" controls.
An easy programming solution to alert law-abiding citizens from being unlawfully detained.
Please share this suggestion with EVERYBODY to have it added ASAP.
Thank you.

Driving with speed limitation, caravans for example.
Dear Waze Team,
First of all, thank you for an outstanding app that continues to improve travel experiences worldwide. I’d like to suggest a feature that would greatly benefit drivers who tow caravans or trailers – or who, for any reason, are legally required to drive at lower speeds than regular traffic.
Currently, Waze assumes standard vehicle behavior and speed limits. However, in many countries (such as across Europe), towing a trailer legally restricts drivers to lower speeds – often 80 km/h on highways, regardless of the posted limit. This discrepancy affects both estimated time of arrival (ETA) and route optimization, especially over long distances.
Feature proposal:
- Add a “Towing / Low Speed Mode” option in vehicle settings
- Allow users to define a personal maximum speed (e.g., 80 km/h)
- Use this limit when calculating ETA and preferred routes
- Optional: warn against routes with weight/length/height restrictionsThis addition would significantly improve accuracy and safety for thousands of users who travel with caravans, trailers, or heavy loads.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
Best regards,
Per Kindwall

Add bike lanes on roads
There should be an option where you can see bike lanes, it can pop up on the side of roads that actually have bike lanes. If there is a bike lane and you need to turn where the bike lane is, it could give you a warning to watch for cyclists in the bike lane. With adding bike lanes, you can even add a feature for cyclists! When you put in your destination on Waze, there could be a pop up that is a little button which says CAR or BIKE. You could switch it on or off depending if you are a bike or car. This would help expand waze and would gather some new members. I am a cyclist myself and this would be really helpful. To add bike lanes, you could go in WME (Waze Map Editor), click the + button, click road, then it could be under walking trails or a new category it self.

JEREMY CLARKSON
A Modest Proposal: Jeremy Clarkson for Waze Voice Navigation
Dear Waze Team,
Let’s cut to the chase — Waze is brilliant. But you know what would make it truly exceptional?
Jeremy Clarkson.
Not just as a voice. As a driving philosophy. Imagine:
“Turn left... or don’t. I’m not your mother.”
“Traffic ahead. Caused, presumably, by a Prius.”
“You've arrived. It's no racetrack, but it'll do.”
"In 200 meters Turn left-- unless you drive a beige Volvo. In which case, please stay home"
Clarkson is the voice of speed, sarcasm, and barely-contained road rage — everything a morning commute needs. Give us what the roads (and humanity) deserve.
Kind regards,

Waze mode for public bus drivers
Team,
My name is Meital , and I’m a professional bus driver in Israel. I’d like to suggest a new feature that could greatly benefit both new and experienced drivers: a dedicated navigation mode for bus lines.
The idea is to create an option within Waze that allows drivers to select a specific public bus line (e.g., “Line 76 from Ashdod to Bat Yam”) and get step-by-step navigation based on the actual route and stops of that line. The system would include all scheduled stops, expected turns, and route-specific details.
This feature could serve multiple purposes:
• For new drivers, it would be an excellent learning tool before entering service.
• For experienced drivers, it would offer immediate guidance when assigned unfamiliar lines on short notice.I also believe this service could be offered exclusively to licensed drivers, possibly as a paid premium feature, to keep it professional and avoid public misuse.
Many drivers in the field—myself included—would be thrilled to see such a tool developed. It would significantly improve safety, reduce errors on route, and provide peace of mind during demanding shifts.
If this idea is of interest, I would love to elaborate or collaborate in any way possible.
Thank you for your time and consideration

Option for more than 1 stop along my route
I find the option to add stops on my route convenient for when I'm going on a long drive where I need to stop at a few places along the way, but it only allows me to add one extra stop. Why can I only add one? I'd appreciate being able to add at least 3 or 4 stops in one trip so I don't need to start a new route after each destination along the way (I've had to do that before and it's way too complicated). Can you please add an option to be able to add more than one stop for our routes? Thanks

Problématique actuelle de l’application =>
Alertes et alternatives automatiques =>

Routes via specific road
Plan or change a route to use a specific road ie. a specific interstate road, state road, local road, so the route will go specifically how you want to drive it. Many times the suggested routes are not the best. One knows this after having driven a certain route multiple times. Waze does not know this.

Show freeway routes and backroads at the same time
It would be great if I could compare freeway routes and backroad routes at the same time without having to "avoid freeway" so I get navigation for the backroads. When the freeway is backed up, every alternate route still takes me back onto the freeway.
Also, show me roads that will reroute me off of the freeway to get around accidents and then get me back on.6 votes -

Add more stops
Add more stop points as many people have long routes like 1500km and want to stop at many towns.
With Google maps you can plan long trips with many stops.
It makes it difficult to add places the entire time while driving.
