Able to add cameras location
In my countrys traffic app, it shows all the speed radars andcamera locations. Can you guys add a feature where we can locally add speed cameras to see ourselves only and maybe be able to share the cameras location preset to others? PLEASE AND THANK YOU

Increase the size of the speed sign and your current speed displayed by 50%-100%. It is TOO SMALL.

Sugestión to add a flood avoidance feature
I would like to suggest adding a feature that allows drivers to avoid flood-prone area, especially during the rainy season
It would be helpful if Waze could identify streets and areas that are prone to flooding and automatically suggest alternative routes to help drivers avoid accidents, delays and vehicle damage

expanded search capabilities
I'd recommend using one to find business categories and specific brands along a route. This could also make Waze more attractive to getting business sponsors to pay a really low entry price per month to show up in those results. I wouldn't use the pay-per-click model. Just something like a $5/month charge. Sell it to them like buying a cup of coffee every month. There are ~1 million US businesses in core travel categories who would qualify for this kind of service.

Ability to report ALPR and flock cameras
The only current ability to report a camera is the police cameras. Please add a separate icon or ability to report these cameras.
Side note for those of you who are adamant that these don’t result in speeding tickets… they don’t until they do… do you really trust the entity behind them?2 votes -

Police Hotspots
Waze should introduce a feature that identifies historical police hotspots—areas where law enforcement frequently sets up speed traps. Because these locations are highly predictable, mapping these recurring zones would give drivers advanced situational awareness. To accommodate all users, this feature should include a dedicated toggle in the settings menu, allowing drivers to easily turn the hotspot indicators on or off based on their preference

Truck Navigation and Road Restrictions for Heavy Vehicle Drivers
I am a truck driver in the UAE. I would like to suggest some improvements to Waze for heavy vehicle drivers.
Many new truck drivers do not know all the roads, truck-restricted routes, or no-entry timings. Sometimes, they enter roads where heavy trucks are not allowed because they do not know the restrictions or road signs.
Please add a truck navigation option that shows:
- Roads where heavy trucks are allowed or prohibited.
- Truck no-entry timings and restricted hours.
- Road signs and truck restrictions.
- Truck-friendly routes based on vehicle type and size.
- Warnings before entering a restricted road.
- Low bridges, height limits, weight limits, and other truck restrictions.
These features would help new truck drivers choose the correct routes, avoid fines, and drive more safely.
Please consider adding these features to Waze. They would be very helpful for truck drivers in the UAE and other countries.

Add all vehicle types
I like to use Waze just needs to have all vehicle types as I drive a truck, flatbed and car and I find it a head doer when it assumes I’m in a car or taxi and sends me down a restricted road or tunnel with hight restrictions lol

Voice Reporting Popup Doesn't Auto Dismiss
With the new voice reporting option, a popup appears when in navigation mode (not immediately either) that asks whether to enable or dismiss this new feature. This popup never auto-dismisses. This popup appeared to me twice, even after dismissing on the first ask.
I'm in Motorcycle mode already, so you should know I cannot interact with the screen. Now I have to start navigation, wait for the popup, click dismiss. Otherwise the popup will cover my navigation for the entire trip.
This is unacceptable and unsafe UI design. Don't design a popup that doesn't dismiss, and don't design to popup to only appear after navigation has already started, especially for motorcycle mode.

Add Live Activities & Dynamic Island support for turn-by-turn navigation - like Google Maps
Please add support for iOS Live Activities and Dynamic Island for navigation. Google Maps, Apple Maps, Uber and Careem already have it, but Waze only shows a blue arrow background indicator.
This is very important for drivers in UAE. We need to see the next turn, ETA and distance directly on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island without keeping Waze open in foreground.
With iOS 27 now supporting up to 3 Live Activities at once, this feature became standard for all navigation apps. It should be very simple to implement.
Many users in the community are requesting this since 2023. Please prioritize it.Thank you

Urgent Localization Issue: Inappropriate Default Russian Voice for Georgian Users
Dear Waze Support Team,
I am writing to you as a dedicated Waze user from Georgia. While I appreciate the app's functionality, I want to bring a critical and highly sensitive localization issue to your immediate attention that needs urgent correction.
Currently, when Georgian users download Waze from the Play Store or App Store (with the region set to Georgia), the app’s interface correctly defaults to the Georgian language. However, the default voice navigation automatically assigns a Russian voice if a dedicated Georgian voice option is missing.
This creates a deeply uncomfortable and unacceptable user experience for several reasons:
1. Technical Inconsistency: It is a major UX flaw to have a Georgian-language interface automatically paired with a Russian audio navigation pack. Users should never have foreign languages forced upon them by default.
2. Geopolitical & Ethical Sensitivity: Russia currently occupies 20% of Georgia’s sovereign territory (the regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia) and continues a daily policy of creeping occupation. Forcing Georgian citizens to use a Russian voice prompt inside Georgia—due to the absence of a Georgian voice pack—is culturally insensitive, deeply frustrating, and offensive to the local user base.
3. Modern AI Feasibility: With recent advancements in Generative AI and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology, generating natural-sounding, high-quality audio prompts in Georgian no longer requires extensive studio recordings. Integrating an AI-driven Georgian voice navigation model is now very accessible and cost-effective for Google/Waze.
Our Request:
* Please prioritize the development and integration of an official Georgian voice prompt (TTS/AI Voice) for Waze.
* Until a Georgian voice is officially available, please ensure that the default fallback for Georgian users is English (or simply muted by default) rather than Russian, to respect the national and political context of our country.
Georgia is a growing market with a vibrant community of drivers who love using navigation apps, but we expect basic respect for our sovereignty and language.

Distracting "New feature" notification
New app feature notification displays after beginning a trip and requires input to clear. This is not suitable and forces users to touch their phone to get the map back. Beginning a trip on a motorcycle just to have this force you to pull over and remove your gloves is very frustrating and once you acknowledge it the app will display it again on your next trip. Please fix this

Require e-mail address or include username for Help & Feedback submitted reports
When someone submits a report via Help & Feedback, it should be required for the user to have a registered e-mail address. If an e-mail address is not registered, they should be required to agree to the disclaimer to display their username.

Exit number visibility on display
Display exit number for my route; don't wait until I am within a mile to make it large enough to see. Exit number is more helpful than miles-to-go until exit, since GSP often lags.

Presentation of search results
When entering a place name, the results should be shown in proximity order, closest first. Optionally, by most recent visited.
ADDITIONALLY, one should be able to see the places on a map of either fixed radius (adjusted by settings) or variable radius (adjusted by pinching).
