Motorcycle based map and speed display scale and legibility.
I have 5" carplay units on both of my motorcycles. (no this is not a display size issue). My preferred map software in carplay, is Waze, as I want the most crowdsourced information such as cops, traffic, construction, etc. My only problem on the motorcycle with carplay/Waze display is that the map is way too FINE and small print, the speed is too small, and red/black which are fairly impossible to read as they're both dark colors.
My ask, and idea, and suggestion... either basically control over the display SIZE to make the fonts and boldness of the roads and road names much more significant. and control over the speed display to be larger, and display colors. -or- a motorcycle mode, which prioritizes those things knowing that the display may be somewhat small, 5 or 7" are the only ones for motorcycles. and it's going to be vibrating a bit, and the rider is in a helmet, with visor or some sort of vision disturbance other than none/glasses_only.
The current version of carplay/waze for motorcycle use is , not usable. Even in cases where I know what street is coming up im looking for, there's no way I can see it on the mc carplay unit waze map. not not bc size... bc the display is a "fine line" and a small fine font.
There is a motorcycle avatar icon to use, idk if you choose that it could auto-adapt the display to something motorcycle oriented with large bold font, thick bold street lines, and large high-contrast speed information., that would be really great. or separate controls, either way... please. pretty please LOL =)

Add Option to Choose Vehicle Icon Position
Suggestion:
Hello Waze team,Many users, including myself, find it difficult to use Waze on large screens because the vehicle icon is displayed on the right side of the screen by default. For drivers seated on the left side (left-hand drive vehicles), this creates visual discomfort and requires more eye effort to follow the route.
I suggest adding an option to allow users to choose the vehicle icon position on the navigation screen—left, center, or right. This would let users adjust the display according to their seating position, screen size, and personal comfort. It would improve visibility, reduce eye strain, and make navigation safer, especially at complicated junctions or on larger LCD displays.
Thank you for considering this feature!

Implement AI for automatic filtering of user-submitted location photos
Implement AI for automatic filtering of user-submitted location photos.
Hello, Waze team!
I would like to suggest implementing an artificial intelligence-based solution to improve the quality of user-submitted location photos before they reach WME (Waze Map Editor).
I don't know the statistics for other countries, but currently in Brazil, around 95% of images are rejected by editors for being of poor quality (blurry, poorly framed, dark, with people and license plates, or irrelevant). This volume of rejections consumes volunteers' time and compromises the efficiency of map editing.
My proposal is for the system to use AI to automatically screen images, identifying and discarding those that don't meet minimum quality and privacy policy criteria (such as sharpness, lighting, framing, and relevance). This would significantly reduce editors' rework and ensure that only useful photos are forwarded to WME.
This approach is already used on other platforms and could be adapted to the Waze ecosystem with excellent results. The community would greatly appreciate this progress!Thank you for your attention and for the incredible work you do!

Suggestion: Add Visual Guidance for Flyovers and Exits
Hi Waze Team,
I have a simple but very useful suggestion — please consider adding a clear visual indicator showing whether to take or skip a flyover/exit.
In busy city centers, where multiple exits and roads are close together, it can be confusing to know which ramp or flyover to take. Often, you might see an exit just before the correct one and take it by mistake, only to realize too late — which can easily add 20–30 minutes to a trip.
When driving in dense traffic, full concentration is on the road ahead, and reading the map in detail isn’t always practical. A visual cue or photo-style instruction (showing which path to follow or avoid) would make navigation much clearer and safer.
This small enhancement could make a big difference for drivers. Many users would really appreciate this feature.
For reference, here’s a related user post:

Historical maps
I would like to suggest adding a feature that allows users to view the history of satellite maps, similar to Google Earth. This would make it possible to see not only the default maps but also the most recent ones. The main goal is to update Waze maps more accurately, by checking the latest road layouts, especially newly built roads.
This feature would help:
Improve map accuracy.
Ensure new roads are reflected as soon as possible.

Is it possible to add more radio applications?
I was wondering if you can integrate Waze with more radio applications.
In Greece we use a lot the application Vradio (I have also a subscription there).
It would be great if we (users) can add radio applications.1 vote -

Make it easier to bookmark addresses
Once I see that checkered pin at the end of the route that is planned, I want to be able to click on that and name it and save it as a bookmarked or favorite address. And while you’re at it, I had a **** of a time trying to simply provide this suggestion. It turns out that having an email and password tied to the app doesn’t mean you have an account to log in with here. That is not clear. And even now, once I finally worked that out, I’ve hit the “post idea” button several times and it appears that nothing is happening. I had to go back out of the form and come back in. Even then, upon pasting my comment back here (thank goodness I thought to copy it) it looked like it saved when I then hit the “post idea” button, but then came back to this form again, with the title filled in and this box empty. So I don’t know what’s going on. It’s like you’re not really interested in hearing my idea.

Speed limit notification
I would suggest adding the actual speed limit value notification when Waze reports there is a speed camera on your route.

Speed camera alert problem
Waze only reports you of speed cameras if you’re going over the speed limit but it needs to alert you if there is a camera regardless you’re over the speed or not over because you could easily just speed up slightly accidentally right before.
PLEASE FIX 🙏

history with time left and time arrived
the phone app should have history more prominent with time left and time arrived, it would be highly useful for a lot of people. you already log this data but it's harder to access and the phone app does not even show time driven (arrival time would be more useful for us hourly workers)

Make the speedometer movable (floating mode)
Hi Waze team,
I’d like to suggest adding an option to make the speedometer movable or floating. When using Waze in landscape mode, alerts such as speed camera warnings sometimes cover the speedometer, making it impossible to see the current speed. I often rely on it because it shows the exact speed, so having the ability to move or reposition it would be very helpful.
Thank you for considering this improvement!
