on the map screen move the triangle with a plus sign from the lower right of the screen to the lower left of the screen closer to the driver allowing for easier access

Essa palhaça de aviso de lombada tá na hora de tirar ou deixa opcional. Muito melhor deixar o aviso de buracos ativos por mais de 24 horas com

A direct link to suicide hotline or form of a helpline for people in a mental crisis. As a retired firefighter and now a part time incident manager I see and have seen many incidents that quick access to something like this may help prevent a life changing event.

Turn off pothole notification separately
In Hungary, the road conditions are often terrible, especially on the route I take daily. Every few meters, a pothole is marked, and the app loudly alerts me each time.
It would be amazing if there was an option to turn off pothole alerts separately. I know I could disable the entire “Hazards” category, but I don’t want to, because on my daily route, there are often incidents like animals on the road, and I would like to keep getting alerts for those.

Quisiera aclarar que mi consulta no está relacionada con la compatibilidad del dispositivo. Mi mensaje era una sugerencia de mejora sobre el tamaño del icono de prohibición que aparece encima del velocímetro.
Considero que dicho icono es demasiado pequeño y puede resultar difícil de ver, especialmente para conductores con problemas de visión. Mi intención era simplemente proponer que se valore aumentar su tamaño por motivos de accesibilidad y seguridad.
Mi dispositivo no presenta problemas de funcionamiento con la aplicación. Se trata únicamente de una sugerencia de mejora en la interfaz.
Agradecería que pudieran trasladar esta propuesta al equipo correspondiente para su consideración.

Personalized Routes Based on My Driving Habits
Waze could use AI to learn the routes I use most frequently to reach a destination.
For example, to get to work I always take a route through a neighborhood that almost never appears in the suggested routes, but which is faster for me.
If Waze detects that I repeat the same route 5–10 times, it could automatically save it as a Custom Route and show me that option along with the main routes. This way I can see if it has traffic and easily compare it.
This would allow Waze to adapt to my actual habits, not just the standard routes. Please vote for Waze to implement this.Waze could use AI to learn the routes I use most frequently to reach a destination.

This is not my idea, this is something that you’ve already had but a lot of people are missing it. I would love if the minions came back.
Me and many others are really missing the minions voice (based on many, many Reddit threads complaining that it’s gone), I really would love it if you guys could add them back. Thank you!

Sharing construction site position
As a professional working on mobile construction sites, I could signal the start of a project, sharing my real-time location with other users as an alert (danger). I could stop sharing my location once the project is finished

"Leave earlier" setting that changes time to leave
Frequently I want to "arrive" 15 minutes early so I have time to find a parking spot, park my car, and then walk to the destination.
Because of this, I'd like to see a feature that allows me to specify an additional amount of time to add to the estimated drive time when determining what time I'll need to leave.
Ideally, there would be a setting to enable / disable the feature, and, when enabled, applied a specified amount of time to every planned drive. There should also be an override on a per planned drive basis.
The "Leave earlier" time setting should allow values from 5 to 30 minutes, in 5 min steps.

Improved Visual Cue for Silent Mode Navigation
Many users drive with Waze on silent mode, without voice alerts. In these cases, it’s easy to miss a turn because there is no strong visual emphasis when approaching it.
Perhaps you could consider adding a more noticeable visual cue when nearing a turn — for example, temporarily changing the screen color or highlighting the upcoming turn instruction in a brighter, more attention-grabbing color.
I believe this could improve safety and help users avoid missing turns when sound notifications are turned off.

Add Traffic Officer / DVSA sub-category to UK Police Reports
Summary
In the UK, motorways are patrolled by National Highways Traffic Officers and DVSA Enforcement. These vehicles use high-visibility yellow/black or yellow/green livery. Because Waze currently only offers a "Police" report button, users frequently misreport these agencies as Police.
This results in "False Police" alerts that cause unnecessary braking and degrade the accuracy of actual speed enforcement data.
The Solution
Update the "Report Police" menu (specifically for the UK and relevant regions) to include a sub-option for Traffic Officer/Enforcement.
Proposed Menu Structure:
Report > Police
Visible / Hidden (Law Enforcement)
Traffic Officer / DVSA (Incident Management / Non-Enforcement)
Why this helps Waze:
Reduces "Panic Braking": Drivers won't slam on their brakes for a speed trap when it is actually a Traffic Officer attending a breakdown.
Improves Data Integrity: Prevents the "Police" category from being diluted by non-enforcement vehicles.
Reduces Editor Workload: Community editors currently spend significant time "cleaning" these misreported icons from the map.
Better Situational Awareness: Knowing a Traffic Officer is ahead warns drivers of a potential hazard (breakdown/debris) rather than a speed check.
Supporting Insight (The "Probability Gap"):
To put the scale of this issue into perspective: across the UK, there are approximately 1,500 National Highways Traffic Officers patrolling the motorways daily.
In contrast, a major county like Kent often only has two dedicated motorway-rated RPU (Roads Policing Unit) vehicles on patrol at any given time—one for the North and one for the South. If these units are diverted to incidents in city centres, there may be zero actual police presence on the motorways.
With 1,500 Traffic Officers versus very few actual Police patrols, the "Police" reports on Waze become statistically unreliable. Users see a high-visibility vehicle and instinctively report "Police," leading to a map filled with false positives.
Global Relevance
This is a scalable solution. Other countries that utilise similar Traffic Officer or Incident Management patrols include:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, and the USA.

Ce serait bien que l'on puisse dire la nature du danger vocalement au lieu de chercher dans les icônes qui nous détourne de notre attention lorsque l'on conduit et serait plus précis car le temps de chercher on à parcouru plusieurs mètres.

Il manque actuellement la possibilité de signaler des cavaliers, des randonneurs en bord de route ou des piétons sur l'autoroute. Ces situations sont critiques et l'option "Autre" n'est pas assez explicite pour les conducteurs.

A proposta é que o sistema ofereça uma alternativa que priorize ruas coletoras e secundárias, reduzindo a exposição a avenidas com histórico recorrente de congestionamento, mesmo que isso resulte em um trajeto ligeiramente mais longo.
Essa funcionalidade atenderia usuários que preferem maior fluidez e constância no deslocamento, em vez de apenas o menor tempo estimado. Acredito que essa opção agregaria valor significativo à experiência de navegação no Waze, especialmente em grandes centros urbanos.
