What Makes Football Trading Pins Worth Putting Real Thought Into Before the Season Starts?
Football trading pins might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you are putting a team together for the season but anyone who has seen the reaction players have when they receive a pin that actually represents them well knows how much that small detail can mean to the people wearing it. The teams that show up with pins worth trading always seem to carry a little more pride with them and that energy is something worth creating intentionally rather than leaving to chance.

I just posted on the community forum... WAZE RECENT announcement of New Features I can not find nor access instructions on how to access them. One featurs has yet to be rolled out fully even though your email implied that. You need to word your communication carefully so we do nto waster our time trying to access a feature that is not fully rolled out. A simple few instructions on how to ensure how to access these features would be great

Setting and routing for sports cars
We need to have a setting to select the type of car, especially sports cars, and routing to avoid high speed humps and big or dangerous potholes, if not all potholes, as far as possible.

Feature: Quick Peek Upcoming Turns
For unfamiliar roads, I want a quick and intuitive way to “peek” at my next turn so I can position my car properly in advance.
Let users manually scroll the map ahead to an upcoming turn. The turn closest to the centre of the screen should automatically be highlighted and show its turn information. The turn highlight colour and turn information background colour could match, making the visual connection between the highlighted turn and its information immediately clear.
This is especially useful when multiple turns are close together. As the user moves the map, the highlighted turn would clearly indicate which specific turn they are currently viewing, removing any ambiguity about which turn the displayed information refers to.
Sometimes Waze already displays a simplified version of the next turn directly below the current navigation instruction. Allow users to enable an “Always show next turn” option so this information is always available. The entire next-turn information area could then be tappable to trigger the “peek”, rather than requiring a separate button, making it easier to use on the go. A small “Peek” CTA could also be added to help users discover this function.
When the user taps the next-turn information, the map would automatically zoom out so they can see both their current location and the highlighted next turn on the same screen. This lets users immediately understand how far away the next turn is and where it is in relation to their current location.
The upcoming turn could also be slightly enlarged in addition to being highlighted, making it easier to identify when the turn is further away and the map needs to zoom out significantly.
Importantly, the map should not automatically move the user's current position to the next turn. If the turn is far away, this could cause the user to lose their current position and make the map less useful for immediate navigation. Keeping the current location visible while showing the next turn provides useful context without disrupting navigation.
If the user wants a closer look at the next turn, they can tap the highlighted turn, which would automatically zoom the map in to that turn.
After peeking ahead, provide an easy-to-press “Return to current location” button. Alternatively, the map could automatically return to the driver's current location after a short countdown.
When the user returns to their current location, the turn information should revert to the current navigation instruction and its default background colour, providing a clear visual distinction between peeking at an upcoming turn and navigating the current one.
This would give drivers a simple way to understand an upcoming turn and prepare for it early, helping reduce last-minute lane changes, missed turns, and uncertainty on unfamiliar roads.

Customize default zoom level especially text and map labels
I am using Waze on an Android tablet, and I find it very difficult to read the standard navigation view while driving. The default font sizes for street names and next turns are too small to read at a distance on a tablet screen, and the automatic zoom level scales too far out, making the map layout look shrunk.
To improve accessibility for tablet and large-screen users, I would like to propose adding the following customization options in the Map Display settings:
Adjustable Text Size: A dedicated in-app slider to independently increase or decrease the font size of all text overlays on the map (such as street labels, navigation banners, and distances).
Custom Baseline Zoom: The ability to adjust the default scaling to a user's preference, allowing the map to remain closer and highly visible at higher driving speeds without having to turn auto-zoom completely off.
These layout changes would greatly improve readability and safety, ensuring drivers do not have to strain their eyes or glance away from the road for too long.I am using Waze on an Android tablet, and I find it very difficult to read the standard navigation view while driving. Reduce Notification Nuisanse and Other Icons obscuring the route, and Language issues
Notifications for Speed Cameras, Speed Humps, or Other Hazards need not take up the so much space, particularly in Android Auto. Navigation lane guidance must take priority, and the notifications should auto dismiss after passing the speed cam or speed hump within a second. Currently, the speed hump notifations remain on screen 10 seconds AFTER passing the hump which makes absolutely NO SENSE. Another BIG annoyance is when approaching destination is that the entire map is suddenly cluttered with parking places, which makes no sense again as it completely obscures the route. No point suggesting parking locations as drivers can see for themselves whether there are parking lots. Without available space information, such icons are meaningless. At the very least, allow users to turn off such notificaitons.
I've also previously suggested to use colours for lane guidance, particularly if there are 2 or more lanes that can be used for exit. Imagine taking the left most lane (out of 3 available) and as you approach the end, the guidance suddenly changes to advise you to take the right most. Yes, there is a "then" advisory, but in this example, you could easily show the right lane as, say, green, to indicate the best choice.
Lastly, I use the app primarily in the Middle East. Destinations can be found in English, but when then remains in either the Recent or Saved destinations in Arabic! Nowhere in my Android settings have I used Arabic so this doesn't make sense. Futhermore, highway Exits are shown in the app with "Exit مخرج". Why the need to show the Arabic "مخرج" ?? Instead, please show the Exit NUMBER, in larger font

Sortie audio personnalisée Carplay
Bonjour,

In the United Arab Emirates, there is a system called a speed limit margin. Signs are posted on the roads in the emirates
In the United Arab Emirates, there is a system called a speed limit margin. Signs are posted on the roads in the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. There is a speed margin, for example, if the road speed limit sign is 100 km/h, the speed limit for fixed and mobile radar cameras is 120 km/h. This is 20 km/h higher than the posted speed limit. Is it possible to adjust only the speed limit for mobile and fixed radar cameras? This margin is present in all the emirates except Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the western regions under Abu Dhabi's jurisdiction. Please update the speed limit information.

Blackout Map screen
It has always been a great app to use but starting from a couple of months back I start having this problem of having to totally clear data on my android app management for the app before restarting the app to relogin again my account if not my map will be blacked out. It happens every single time I close the app and the next time will be blacked out. Simply not user friendly man.

reduce the amount of turn warnings. I counted 6 warnings to exit a highway!
"prepare to exit highway in 1.5km"
"...in 800m"
"...in 400m"
"...in 200m"
"...in 100m"
"exit"(going off memory here, so the values may be off)
I suggest reducing the warnings to 3 or 4 :
"prepare to exit in 1km"
"...in 200m"
"...in100m"
"exit now"2 votes -
App often just stalls, can't start routing and takes 5 minutes before it finally does
I've used Waze for about a decade, maybe longer. It was awesome and consistent through every phone upgrade (mostly Pixel Pro series)
In the last few months it often just doesn't come up with a route until I've driven several miles from home, even when going to regular places like work! It pops up with some retry message, if so it usually has to be pressed twice.
All this is very distracting from the task of driving.1 vote -
"Other side" reporting of police should ONLY be available on divided highways and interstates.
One shouldn't have to look at the screen to see a marked police location but get no audible report/alert. Please alert for both directions.
People in town or rural highways often use "other side" tag but the police are present for BOTH directions because it's not like they can't be watching lanes each way on regular roads.2 votes -
Dark Mode
The blue background is very bright and can be harsh on the eyes. There is no dark mode or black background option when you open the app.

Music volume
Give more control of the music playing during using Waze. Give the option to lower the music enough to hear the directions properly.
Right now - when playing music during navigation, when there are direction needed to be heared - the music volume isn’t low enough to hear it.
It needs to be lower, or at least have the option to choose the volume.
The volume given right now isn’t low enough.1 vote
