Enable users in Uganda to map out the new speed limits on the roads and get alerts when they are driving above the speed limit
New speed limits have been implemented in Uganda alongside electronic speed ticketing. There are little to no speed limit signs so this would help people monitor and adhere to speed limits during a commute.
The feature required is the ability to map the speed limits so we can crowd source the information

Can you just make my usual route as a default route please?? Otherwise what’s the point to highlight that’s my usual route? Apart from the road closed situation I would only want to do my usual route every day. I don’t care about how bad the traffic is I just need the most simple route. Every time when I forgot to change to my usual route, it will direct me to somewhere I never known and complex route!! Such a pain

Proposta de Integração de Criptomoeda com Sistema de Recompensas no Waze
Prezada equipe do Waze / Google Maps,
Atenciosamente,

App feedback
I’m facing a consistent issue in the Waze app IOS regarding saved and frequently used addresses.
When I begin typing an address in the search bar, Waze displays it in two forms:
1. One under the “frequently used” section (with a circular icon),
2. The other as a new suggestion just below. If I select the newly suggested address, everything works fine — the “Go now” button functions as expected.
However, if I select the frequently used version of the same address, the app shows the “Leave later” and “Go now” buttons, but they become unresponsive — tapping them does nothing. This makes it difficult to start navigation directly from saved or commonly used addresses. The same issue happens even with addresses saved under “Home” or “Work.” Restarting the app or phone doesn’t fix it.
Please look into this bug, as it affects the usability of core features. I hope this can be resolved in an upcoming update.
Thank you.

Timeline with Travel History
Here recently, i needed to see my travel history for my job. It took me a fairly long time to see my route for that day but there was no timeline to connect the whole day together. I am suggesting to make this easily accessible by adding a Travel History tab on our accounts menu. This tab will give you a peek in the past travels and also help you tweak your upcoming travel plans to choose better routes. I know that it will help me calculate my work mileage between stops and help me keep track of of the frequency of visits.

Add more delay to the direction timing for motorcyclists
I often use Waze while driving my motorcycle using voice-only mode, and almost invariably, the voice prompts for turning left or right were only spoken as I am passing through intersections.
This causes me to miss most turns, forcing multiple route recalculations.
I wish you would add more delay to the direction timing that Waze’s voice-only mode uses, especially if the user has identified themselves as a motorcycle driver. It’s very hard to change direction at the last second in a motorcycle as one might imagine.
It would be helpful if your team tested it while also driving on a motorcycle while actually using voice-only mode to better understand the user experience and address these fairly serious timing issues.

Police posting for them not to be able to take them down them selves
So basically instead of the police reports being able to be taken down by the police that is sitting there. There should be a need of two wazers to report that the police is not there as well as the vehicle has to be in motion for it to be able to report that the police is not there anymore. ( I should be paid for this idea)…

Improve the quality of your TTS voices.
Please improve the quality of your TTS voices with street names. You have all the better features from other navigation software, but Google is leaving you in their dust with the quality of their TTS. Your's sound robotic and frustrating to listen to.

Additional Warning/Alert
Having an option to report an unsafe driver or other warnings that may occur on an interstate. Often we see cars that maybe driving at an excessive speed, swerving, semis that don't have loads strapped down, etc and it would be nice to have a place where these could be reported for other wazers.

Police
Can you please bring back the police in motion choice? It would be nice to be able to hit two choices as well. For example police in motion and on other side. It would also be helpful if you could comment on where the police are... Like side of the road, in motion, other side, in median, etc as well as what kind of vehicle they are driving

Additional alert ideas
For a hazard option, please add person on the side of the road. It would also be helpful to be able to put car on the left side of the road on an interstate, location of objects on the road, and the location of a car crash on the road.

Motorcycle-Friendly Long Trip Rest Recommendations
On long trips using motorcycle navigation mode, Waze should recommend rest stops every 1 hour or 120 km (whichever comes first). These stops could include nearby gas stations, rest areas, scenic points, or safe parking spots, helping riders stay alert, hydrated, and safe.
Why This Feature Matters
Safety First: Long rides on a motorcycle are physically demanding. Fatigue increases the risk of accidents. Timely rest breaks help reduce this danger. Health & Comfort: Regular stops reduce back strain, dehydration, and numbness. It promotes better focus for the rest of the ride. Route Planning: Knowing where to stop in advance, especially for fuel or refreshments, helps riders plan more confidently and avoid remote areas without services. Motorcycle-Specific Behavior: Unlike cars, motorcycles don’t have air conditioning, storage, or in-seat comfort, making frequent stops more essential. How It Could Work
Enable this as a toggle under Motorcycle Mode Settings. When a trip is longer than 100 km or expected to last more than 1 hour: Waze prompts: “Would you like rest stop suggestions every 60 minutes or 120 km?” The app displays: Nearby gas stations Scenic or shaded rest areas Places with bathrooms or refreshments Possibly a reminder notification: “You’ve been riding for 1 hour — here’s a good spot to rest.”Optional Features
Customize intervals (e.g., every 45 min, 90 min, or 100 km). Allow user-rated rest spots for motorcycle-friendly services. Incorporate weather data (heat, rain) to suggest even more frequent breaks.End Goal
Make long motorcycle rides safer, more enjoyable, and less fatiguing by incorporating practical rest planning right into the route guidance experience.

Ai
Dear Waze Product Team,
My name is Yeuda Chayoth, and I am reaching out from Givat Shmuel, Israel. I’d like to propose a new AI-powered feature for the Waze platform, designed to offer users greater control over their driving experience beyond time and traffic.
The concept — Waze StealthDrive AI — enables users to:
- Avoid highways, traffic cameras, or specific zones based on personal preferences
- Select “stealth modes” that reduce exposure to enforcement or tracking
- Let the AI learn and adapt to individual driving habits over time
- Suggest quieter or safer routes (e.g. shaded roads in summer, well-lit roads at night)
- Locate better parking opportunities and avoid areas with high fine probabilityThis feature could benefit users who prioritize privacy, comfort, stress-free driving, or simply want more control over their route planning.
I believe Waze is in a unique position to lead this next generation of smart, user-centric navigation. I’d be happy to provide mockups or assist in further conceptual design.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Yeuda Chayoth
