Signs on the map
It would be great to add signs for roads with frequent animal crossings. For example, here in central PA, we have a lot of deer and livestock, such as geese, chickens, turkeys, etc., that cross the road. It would be nice to have those signs on the map as you're traveling, so you're aware ahead of time.
Also, on a different topic, we have signs for wavy roads/sharp turns and things of that nature here. It would be nice to see those on the map ahead of time!

The ability to see how many GPSs are connected
It would be nice to have the ability within Waze to see how many GPS are locked on or connected to your device to determine how accurate your position is and/or troubleshoot why Waze might be giving poor directions etc..
If this was an area within settings that displays a visual of the world and where the GPSs are connected above the device in space.

Toothless upgrade
I got really excited when toothless was added as a car option however i do find he’s not 100% accurate. In the movies, his back tail is missing and is replaced by a new red tail and on the waze app, both the tails are black and I think it would be super cool if this was updated.

More time warning exiting freeways
Can Waze please give more time warning when approaching ones off-ramp. It’s awkward if one is traveling in the left lane to have Waze suddenly say “Exit right”. A one or two miles heads up would be super helpful.

fix destination entry!
My iOS Waze app only accepts every other letter I type. This is very annoying and potentially dangerously distracting. I am running iOS 27.0 and downloaded a fresh copy of Waze minutes ago. In other words, I have the latest version of the app from the App Store, as of today.

Show next-turn guidance on the instrument cluster in Android Automotive / Google built-in
Waze already displays the navigation map on the driver's instrument cluster in compatible vehicles with Android Automotive / Google built-in, such as the Nissan Qashqai MY2026.
However, unlike Google Maps on exactly the same vehicle, Waze does not display the next-turn information on the instrument cluster. Google Maps shows not only the map, but also useful turn-by-turn information such as the next maneuver arrow, remaining distance to the maneuver, exit number and/or street name.
It would be very useful if Waze could provide the same information on the driver's instrument cluster whenever the vehicle supports it.
For example, while driving with Waze on my Nissan Qashqai MY2026 with Google built-in, I can see the Waze map on the instrument cluster, but I have to look at the central infotainment screen to check the next turn, exit or remaining distance. With Google Maps, this information is displayed directly in front of the driver together with the map.
This would significantly improve the usability of Waze on Android Automotive / Google built-in vehicles and would allow drivers to keep their attention closer to the road.
Ideally, the instrument cluster could display:
Next maneuver / turn arrow
Distance to the next maneuver
Exit number when applicable
Street or road name when applicable
Since Google Maps already provides this information through the same vehicle display, it appears that the instrument cluster is technically capable of showing it.
Please consider adding this functionality to Waze for compatible Android Automotive / Google built-in vehicles.

Save default audio output device
When using WAZE in the car the app connects by default via Bluetooth with the car for the audio output of warnings, but I would like to continue receiving audio from the (iPhone-) speaker. So everytime entering the car I have to manually change the audio-output-options. I would suggest to implement a default (or priority) option, so that WAZE „knows“, whenever I enter the car, NOT to switch to Bluetooth connection, but to remain on (iPhone-) speaker output.

Support CarPlay Dual-Screen/HUD API for Turn Lists and Compass Overlay
As a dedicated Waze user driving with a dual-screen CarPlay setup (an iPhone 12 paired with an aftermarket Vhedia M-Series head unit), I am requesting official support for Apple CarPlay's secondary display and HUD APIs.Currently, when a route is active, my head unit displays the map, while my iPhone screen is restricted to showing a text list of upcoming turns. If I want to mount my phone near my instrument cluster or utilize a projection HUD, Waze provides no option to push a clean HUD layout or split the UI effectively. Furthermore, the newly added compass icon frequently fails to render or remains hidden on the CarPlay UI layer while in "Heading Up" mode. Please update the iOS app code to natively support CarPlay's multi-display protocols. Allowing users to project turn-by-turn graphics to a HUD or keeping vital map tools like the compass persistently visible on CarPlay screens would greatly improve safety and navigation on unfamiliar roads. Thank you!

Subject: Product Feature Suggestion: Dynamic Route Prediction Based on Estimated Time of Arrival at Bottlenecks
Hi Waze Team,
I would like to share a feature suggestion based on a real-world driving experience.
Last week, at around 4:00 PM, I set out on a trip from Joinville to Rio do Sul (Santa Catarina, Brazil). At departure, Waze suggested Route 1 (via BR-101 / Navegantes) as the fastest option. However, the route selection was based on the traffic conditions across the entire path at 4:00 PM.
As a result, by the time I reached the Blumenau area around 6:00 PM, I ran straight into the predictable rush-hour gridlock on the BR-470 highway. Had I taken Route 2 (via Jaraguá do Sul) at 4:00 PM, I would have avoided kilometers of heavy traffic altogether.
My Proposal:
Integrate a predictive AI/Machine Learning model that calculates route efficiency continuously over time. Instead of assessing current traffic along the whole trip at departure, the algorithm should project expected traffic conditions for the exact time the driver is estimated to hit each specific segment (e.g., predicting 6:00 PM traffic in Blumenau for a driver departing Joinville at 4:00 PM).This forward-looking approach would make long-distance routing significantly more accurate and stress-free.
Thank you for your great work on the app!

Real-Time Cyclist and Runner Safety Alerts
I would like to suggest a new Waze safety feature that would allow cyclists and runners who use roads shared with motor vehicles to make their presence visible to nearby drivers in real time.
Cyclists and runners could activate a dedicated “Cyclist” or “Runner” safety mode in the Waze app. While this mode is active, Waze would anonymously share their approximate real-time location with approaching drivers. Drivers could then receive an audio warning such as:
“Caution: cyclist ahead.”
“Caution: runner on the road ahead.”The warning should be given early enough for the driver to slow down and pass safely. The runner or cyclist would not need to interact with the app while moving—the mode could remain active until manually stopped or automatically end when the activity is completed. To protect privacy, their identity and full route would not be displayed.
Real-life example
Almost every morning, while driving to work, I encounter a runner using the same road as cars and trucks. When there are trucks in front of me, they often block my view, and I may only see the runner at the last moment. This creates a dangerous situation for the runner, for me, and for other drivers. If the runner could activate Waze before starting, approaching drivers could receive an early audio warning and have enough time to reduce their speed and leave a safe passing distance.
Benefits
Increased safety for runners, cyclists, and drivers
Earlier warnings in poor visibility, darkness, fog, or heavy traffic
Fewer dangerous last-second reactions
Better awareness on roads without sidewalks or dedicated cycle lanes
Additional protection when large vehicles block a driver’s view
For this feature to work effectively, Waze could also launch an awareness campaign encouraging runners and cyclists to use the safety mode whenever they travel on roads shared with motor vehicles. Partnerships with running clubs, cycling communities, sports events, and road-safety organizations could help promote it.This feature could extend Waze’s community-based safety approach beyond drivers and help protect all road users.

Voice reporting popup
It's fine to have voice reporting as a feature for people who want it or are required by law, but I do not want my device to listen to me constantly. Yet Waze keeps giving me a nearly Fullscreen popup asking to enable it that never goes away unless you hit the 'later' button.
Please make this popup only temporary and add an option to make it permanently go away!

Won’t get rid of Apple Maps because of this issue
I love Waze but the one issue that keeps me from just fully deleting Apple Maps is the inability to search for a location while my phone is Connected to Apple CarPlay and be able to see on the map where the location is. It only gives options by the distance from me. I moved to a big new city and also travel a lot for work and it’s frustrating to not be able to see in which direction say for instance a gas station is from me. Same goes for adding a stop, cant tell if the location is 4 miles in the opposite direction or along the way.

Add a “Crazy Taxi” sidekick voice (like the announcer voice)
I’m surprised nobody else thought of this yet (or if they did it’s too far down, mb 😂) I was thinking it could sound a little like this:
Route start: Hey hey hey, it's time to make some crazy money! Are you ready? Here we go!”
The turns: “Do a crazy drift left/right!”
U turn: “Do a crazy tailspin!”
I thought this would be a cool sidekick to add 😂
