since routes are not as short as possible, but influenced by nearby businesses who pay for it:
it's time for a real neutral paid-for version of waze. I was very annoyed to figure out I'm lead to drive by businesses with ads instead of getting the shortest route. you should have been open and honest about it waze people...

Driving "Unplugged "
Put the phone down, observe current driving conditions, adjust accordingly. Don't worry about the location of law enforcement officers, try to drive the same speed as surrounding traffic. You'll burn less fuel, brake pads, and brain cells. Good luck out there and stay safe.

taxiway
Currently you identify a runway and taxiway as being identical. There are not. Runways cannot be driven on (typically) but can have street names as well runway identifiers. Taxiways can be driven on with some airports especially airport communities. And they also have street names. You need to separate runways and taxiways into 2 separate types of road or street.

I'd just like to offer some feedback I think would get a lot more people using the app from Google Maps.
When using Google maps and you say "Navigate Home" or press navigate (mainly when in the Uber app, just as an example) it opens the Google Maps app, calculates the directions and then just goes. You don't have to take your eyes off the road to press go.
When using Waze you have to wait for the app to open, calculate directions and then press go. (Why press go? If it's something I can't think of then maybe…1 vote -

Taxis vagyok budapesten, az önök által preferált térképet használom. Sajnos térkép hibáiból eredően hatalmas károm származik. Jelen pillanatban taxis társaság fegyelmi eljárás eszközön ellenem. Mivel hatalmas kerülő kell érkezzen a címre és utasai már hatalmas kerülővel érkezem meg célponthoz. Sajnos nagyon komoly kártérítés elé nézhetek taxis társaságom felé és az utolsók felé. Térkép tervezése hatalmas kerülő kell tervezi meg és az ismeretlen helyen vagyok kénytelen vagyok követni. Éjszaka dolgozom azt sem lehet mondani forgalmi dugó miatt tervez kerülök kell. לפתח כפתור חירום באפליקציה שמחייג אוטומטית למשטרה.
כפתור חירום שבמקרה של תאונה או מקרי חירום אחרים בלחיצה עליו ישנה התקשרות עם המשטרה וכמו כן המיקום המדוייק של רכבך יישלח למשטרה על מנת להגיע במדוייק למיקום.

רוכבי אופניים ואופנועים יסומנו בצורה של אופניים או אופנוע על המפה ועל ידי כך נהגים יהיו מודעים אליהם על הכביש.
כל אדם אשר רוכב על אופניים או אופנוע יוכל לשנות את האייקון שלו לרוכב, ועל ידי כך נהגים בסביבה יקבלו התראה שיש רוכב בקרבת הדרך וינהגו במשנה זהירות.

Suggest route home after an event
Similar to how it will suggest navigation before a planned drive, it would be great if it could detect the end of a calendar event and suggest a route home.
