Remove "Set Address" screen when selecting a Calendar event
This is a redundant screen and should just go directly to the search results if an address is unknown or directly to the Nav screen. Older versions of Waze did this and this new way just introduces delays in navigation

multiple ideas
- when navigating, esp. for Uber, Waze takes me to alleys for the destination address, not to the actual street
- why doesn't Waze show one way street direction with arrows on map?
- is there a way to stop directing me to turn left onto/cross a busy street with no stop signs or lights?
- can the step by step directions show the destination address as well as the checkered flag?
- show ahead of time which lane to be in for all off-ramps on highways

Avant toutes choses sachez que je suis très content de l'application et qu'en aucun cas la suite de ce mail n'a valeur négative.
Aujourd'hui, en effectuant un trajet, l'application m'a fait prendre un certain itinéraire. Sur cet itinéraire il y a un feu trèèèèèès long. Si l'on arrive au feu vert je pense que ce trajet est effectivement le plus rapide, mais si l'on tombe en début de feu rouge comme aujourd'hui je pense qu'il est préférable de passer par la rocade qui elle n'a aucun feu.
Mon idée est donc la suivante: ne serait-il pas possible que l'application…

In the navigation screen, a button to make api calls to Shazam would be nice.
When I am driving and using Waze, it would be extremely useful to have the easy ability to shazam a song that may be playing on the radio. Having an API call/relationship with Shazam would mean you don't need to reinvent the wheel, and my id'd songs would remain with the same app I always use to id songs.

Change 'Return' key to add line break, not 'Enter' when editing Places info
When editing Place info in the app (any version), currently Android does 'Enter' with the Return key,
I need to be able to add line breaks in the 'Details - About' box for data clarity, e.g. daily sub-department hours that are different from the main ones already listed.
Would be most helpful to to change the Return key response to instead add line breaks for just that box or even other sections. The Done key already takes care of accepting the edit. This behavior already applies to the WME.

Present chances of delays / early arrival
Ill try to explain it by steps:
Entered my destination and started on navigating.
I know that the ETA is not accurate as there is a high probability to be delayed!
This very important information isn't written anywhere, so i have to take it into account.
I'm taking the same route every morning, having me adding about 30 mins to the ETA that WAZE shows.
Can I have WAZE presenting the probability (percentage) of delays and how long it will be?
This information can be calculated based on historical data, live data and reappearance (which is everyday).Please don't show…

share destination via api
An API so that when you enter a destination into Waze, then Waze can inform other web services (such as IFTTT) to use this. For example, Nest (also part of Google) has an API that includes telling it when you will get home to it can preset the heating.

Make Wazers Near You work everywhere
When starting Waze, you see "xxx Wazers near you"...but only if you are in a defined NYN polygon.
I would like it to work if you are outside these polygons, possibly by determining the number of Wazers within N km.2 votes -
STOP THE TRAIN button
Besides the great idea for navigating around blocked crossings, how about when YOU are stuck on the RR and you can't get off? Press the STOP THE TRAIN (button within WAZE, or a stand alone app). A message is sent off to DOT.GOV and the RR. Hopefully the RR operation center can get the the signal changed withing a few minutes. I am making a suggestion to them at rrswebinquiries@dot.gov so they could develop this app and the needed database of locations codes by position.

Add a "turning" camera in addition to red light and speeding cameras.
Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, NY has at least two cameras to ticket drivers that make a turn where there is a "no left turn" sign. Perhaps waze can add an option for such cameras.

temporary places
I've seen a number of places meant to be temporary. For example "Jones-Smith Wedding" or "Start of xxx Bike Race." Having those is probably helpful both to participants and also helps advertise Waze. All that would be needed is a new category and an expiration date.
There is already a suggestion for "ad hoc" places but I don't think the name quite conveys the idea.

Next Nav event as popup
Add info of the coming navigation event (in X km turn left etc') in the notification curton. This should be poped up over an active app canvas. See reference on Google Maps
