Show conflict choice option on deleting junction node
(Copied over from https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1525&t=229014)
If you try to delete unneeded junction node, but it can't be deleted due to a conflicting option between then, at the moment you need to inspect each segment to see what the differences are. This is especially frustrating when there may be a hidden speed limit set on a one way segment.
Can a dialog box pop up on deletion of a junction node if there is a conflict to allow the editor to select one of the conflicting settings for the newly joined segment?
Create an error message saying the junction node cannot be deleted because of <a-b speed limit> conflicting, for example.
Thank you for this suggestion!
At the moment we are not going to move forward with this suggestion, as it is not aligned with our road maps and plans for JB. more info will be shared in the near future.
I would add to this to please improve/correct error messaging that is already happening. Recently I tried to merge two segments that had conflicting speed-limit data. Not only did the save fail, a "Saving Error" error message appeared that read "Failed to merge segments, one or both are in a junction box". But there were no junction boxes for miles. The faulty error message sent me down the wrong rabbit-hole! Even a generic error would be better than an incorrect error.
