  1. Rearrange RoadShields by moving the boxes with the mouse.

It would be really great, if we could move RS on WME. It's really tedious when you have to delete RS and search again just to change the order of them. How great would it be if we could rearrange the different RoadShield boxes by moving them with the mouse.

  2. Add ability to mark Map Comments as critical with increased visibility

Please add a way to mark some Map Comment (MC) points as "critical" (as opposed to "informational"), with increased visibility. Instead of a small white dot, for example, you could display a slightly larger black-and-white or red-and-white bullseye. You could perhaps even add (gentle!) animation, such as gradual pulsing.

Why do I suggest this? Several times now, I have encountered oversights by editors who seemed to have missed important information in a nearby MC Point. These well-intentioned but uninformed edits degraded the driver experience until they were discovered and repaired. I've asked around and have come to three conclusions:

  3. Increase the number of things that can be modified at country management level.

For example each of the road types creation, could be limited to an editor of a certain level.
Similarly, the walking tracks, railroads, cameras, etc.

  4. Show name of editor on expired closures

The new status of real time closures in WME is good. It would even be better if we can see who the editor was who set the closure when the closure is expired; now this is not possible. That way you can liaise with the editor if a UR comes in relating to that closure.

  5. JB, RRC, Camera: Edit only when the layer is on

For Place you have to enable the layer. This is a good feature so you can‘t create something what is still there but hidden.
Can you expand this also to JB, RRC, Camera?

  6. Conditional lane guidance

There are many cases in highways where there is an on-ramp shortly followed by an off-ramp. In those cases, the right lane/s serve for those who get on the HW from the on-ramp, as well as those who get off the HW on the off-ramp.
A wazer that gets on the HW from the on-ramp and has to continue on the HW should get lane guidance to go onto the left lanes when approachng the next junction of the off-ramp, otherwise, he might continue on the right lanes and get off the HW.
A wazer that comes on the HW…

  7. Closing URs that are no more in your editing area

I can edit the area of a UR when I first answer it because it is in my edit area. But sometimes I do reach the expiry date of the editing area in the middle of working on this UR. Because of that, I can't even close the UR I started working on.
It would be great if there will be an option to close a UR you started working on even if this UR is now outside of your editing area.

  8. Update UR Categories the same as the App

Would like to match app problem descriptions with those presented in WME URs.

For example: UR's that come in for 'Wrong Driving Directions' (what the App says)
Show in WME as 'Improper / Poor navigation instruction'

Having that changed to 'Wrong Driving Directions' will help with editors looking at responses and what to select for a default/1st response to a user.

  9. Draw City Boundaries More Accurately

Currently City Boundary layers are not drawn precisely, which can result in the wrong city name being displayed to users in the app. I continue to get URs on this regularly in my area.
This issue seems to be seen commonly when cities are divided by an undulating river. Users should not be shown that they are in a city that they are not in. The system to "draw" the city layer should rely on more data points to draw a more accurate city layer. I will attach screenshots to show this more clearly.

  10. Facilitate the addition/editing of rivers, lakes and water cover

Drawing large rivers on the map, for example, is torture. Although there are scripts that "help" the task, Waze should add its own feature to add water covers, instead of the place editors as it is today.

My suggestion is that each type of water cover has its own type of editor. For example, to draw a river, the editor draws a line that follows the direction of the river and chooses the width, Waze then fills in smoothly, that is, with several "dots".

Another suggestion is the possibility of connecting aquatic elements, such as connecting the river to a…

  11. custom alerts

I would like to be able to place custom warnings in WME that come through to the app.

    problem:
    - certain tunnels see a lot of truckers or camper vans getting jammed because they are too large to enter.
    - school area's getting dangerous when people who do not know the area are routed through due to a traffic jam somewhere else.

    Idea:
I imagine this like placing a speedcam in WME but then beeing able to fill in a message (with a set maximum of characters).
We could use those to put warnings in problematic areas, and these can…

  12. Allow moving nodes inside Junction Boxes

Junction Boxes currently prevent moving the location of nodes inside them, which means that geometry edits often need JBs to be deleted and recreated.

  13. Navigate to place point by address

As we've added more parking lot roads to shopping centers wazers have become accustomed to being directed to a specific store when they search by name. As a result, they are reporting navigation errors when navigating by address results in a stop point on the road in front of the stopping center. This is particularly bad when the route has to circle around the shopping center to reach the house number.

To work around this, we've taken to adding both a PP and a RPP when a store in a shopping center has a unique address.

    It would be great…

  14. Add keyboard shortcuts for setting a voice prompt override when a turn is selected

Please allow setting the turn override with a keyboard shortcut, when the turn popup is shown.

Define a set of shortcuts for all possible values (or at least for the main common ones, continue, turn left, turn right, u-turn)
You can show them on the dropdown, so that people know what key to use.
    Example: https://ibb.co/hHZsXtM

This would save a lot of clicks (and would more likely prevent mistakes of setting the opposite direction) in particular when setting them over roundabouts.
