About road closures from the app
Currently, the Waze app only allows you to set road closures in the direction of travel, but if you could select road closures in both directions, we believe it would be possible to provide more flexible and accurate traffic information.

Automatic approval of EVCS PURs from EVCS Feed Data
Since these come up from an automated feed (I am assuming Waze has some channel similar to Petrol Station PURs), is there a reason that Waze doesn't automatically approve them?
I understand that, similar to petrol stations, these need to be verified, to some extent. However, the scope of verification of these places could easily become unmanageable for volunteers.
Unlike traditional petrol stations, with EVCS, there could be any number of plug types, network types, payment types, etc., all at the same place.
It would be much better use of volunteer time and resources to automatically approve first (as configured),…

Minimum Zoom level for URs/Issues Tab
It would be great to decrease the minimum zoom levels for Issues tab, which would help editors monitoring a larger area. Currently URs/Issues are only shown at a minimum zoom level of 12, which isn't wide enough for bigger countries like Australia.
It would be much more convenient for an editor to have this level reduced to something close to 10.

Please add "pause" function for Closures
The "pause" feature will allow editing/modification of segments affected by an ongoing closure. While the closure is active, those segments cannot be edited until the closure concludes or is deleted and recreated. Temporarily pausing a closure to allow changes allows editors to modify any part of the segment. This is useful for long-term closures where significant changes are made to the segments. These changes can be applied to the WME before the closure ends or the roadway expansion or work project is completed, allowing those segments to reopen to vehicle traffic.

Highways traffic officer
Proposal: Addition of National Highways Traffic Officer Reporting Option in Waze
In the United Kingdom, National Highways deploys Traffic Officers to manage both emergency and routine incidents on the strategic road network. These officers are civilian personnel and are not police officers.
Currently, within Waze, patrol vehicles operated by National Highways Traffic Officers are frequently misreported by users as police vehicles. This creates confusion for drivers who receive notifications of “police reported ahead,” only to find that the vehicle in question belongs to a Traffic Officer rather than the police.
To address this, I propose the introduction of a new…

Option to choose vans as your vehicle
In the UK, vans on a dual carriage way must go 60mph instead of 70 and 50 on a single carriageway instead of 60.
Being able to choose van as your type of vehicle and having a different speed limit being shown would be extremely useful

Add feature for people with Military Base Access to delete places.
People with base access should be able to delete place points and place areas for OPSEC considerations. When I noticed an OPSEC concern with a barracks building being mapped I had to notify a Discord chat to get the PP deleted. There should be a way to delete places like this without drawing more attention to it. Maybe if a Waze Map Editor has so many drives on post or uploads a DOD Cyber Awareness cert they could be trusted to modify on post places.

Waze map Editor
Good Evening, Im from latin America and genuinely love Waze and th Waze map editor system, but I really think that the number of high level map editors that can make actual and meaningful changes is very close to none. Also I think that being a level one editor leaves you with very small options on how to better the experience to everyone, even though most of the level one editors are mostly people who saw a problem and joined just to get it fixed, adding to this the way a low level editor can add suggestions is not easy…

Route under Sightseeing aspects
If you're choosing a route , waze suggests it always under the aspect of as-fast-as-possible aspects. I got time and am looking for a route under sightseeing aspects, For me it does'nt matter if the route lasts 2 hours longer. i'll make a rest in a nice littel town in a café and are enjoying the landscape.
So we have to use our analog paper map, waze is not really helpfull.
Please give the possibility, to choose a route under touristic aspects.3 votes -

(Emergency Service) Driving Forward on the current road | Coming from Behind
Hey everyone,
There have been many times while driving when an ambulance or police car comes up behind me, or I notice one driving ahead in the same direction. In those moments, I wish Waze had a quick way to alert other drivers.
I think it’d be great to add a “Police driving ahead” or “Ambulance driving ahead” report option. That way, users can warn drivers in front that an emergency vehicle is coming toward them or traveling along the same route.
It sounds simple, but I’ve had plenty of situations where I really wished I could report it. This…

Choose which alerts are voiced when you have sound on
When you have the sound on for navigation, it would be great to choose which alerts to actually have the navigation voice. When on a long drive and trying to listen to music it can be very annoying to have your songs interrupted every few minutes because of a car on the shoulder.

Adding stops to route be able to view on map
It would be extremely helpful to be able to view the locations of possible added stops along your route to be able to better visualize which location would be best and see how far off the route it is or how close/far from the original destination.

Pop-Up Alert telling users the address they are routing to has been updated recently
It would be awesome if there was a system that alerted a user that's navigating to an address that has recently been updated and then ask if they would like to continue to the old location or if they would like to go the new updated location. This would help a ton when it comes to URs that are reporting that navigation to their house is wrong and delivery drivers or even family and friends cannot properly find the house because Waze has the pin improperly placed. (And yes, I know there's no way to know for sure the other…

Permanent Hazard Cameras: Electronic Toll Collection
Many locations are now using electronic toll collection systems that take a photo of a user’s license plate, then send the user either a bill or a violation/penalty notice by mail. Since this is relatively new tech, a common concern over many of these applications is that they could be easy to miss, thus causing confusion over an “invisible toll” even if clearly signed. Additionally, some of these toll cameras also act as lane-use and HOV lane cameras in the case of express and HOT lanes. In some jurisdictions, they even act as speed cameras.
Since PHs show up on…
