Junction box, add ability to demand a pass or mark as private for specific route
Junction box is still evolving so it would be good to add one more feature to it. We have situations where driving through a longer section of road is only permitted with certain conditions but driving to an address in between or to drive across the affected street from different direction is always allowed.
Thinking about a possibility that those conditions could be set as a pass and then apply it only to specific route in junction box. This could probably also be used in a way that you could set a specific route to be private road in routing,…

Roads with permits for residents only
Very often there are streets that can only be used by residents.
It would be useful to be able to set the segments on the WME "residents only".
This way only those who add their home address on those streets in to the app will be able to use them.
It is different from editing a road as private, because it would only allow access to residents, whereas now if you search for a destination on a private road everyone can access it.37 votesThanks for your feedback. Ability to add more than 4 fields in the Address box
Please give us the ability to create more than 4 address fields. and make it so that editors can set custom number of fields according to their own area.
Right now waze has four boxes for address: Street, City, State, Country.
Not all addresses in the world work quite exactly like this so please
I would like to suggest waze allow users to create custom fields and name them and Country coordinators set the limit of fields in each city and country.
So we can have many fields like:
Street
Sector
Phase
Town
City
District
State
etc.

Show stop points in the House Numbers layer
The House Numbers layer currently displays only the location of the HN, but not the stop point on the related segment. In HN editing mode, when you select the HN, the stop point also becomes visible, with a dotted line from the HN to the stop point. Suggestion is to display the stop point and the dotted line as part of the House Numbers layer, even when not in HN editing mode. (This might either be visible only at a high-enough zoom level, such as 18, or be an option that the user could enable from the layers menu.)

House number layer should disable
With the new house number editing flow, once you edit a house number and leave house number editing, the House Number layer remains active. The layer should return to disabled if it was disabled before editing the house number.

Event based restrictions
Sometimes for major events and after major emergencies (wildfires, hurricanes, flooding) there are roads that are open to residents but not to the general public.
I would suggest something that can be applied like a real time closure, but acts more like setting the road to private so it allows routing onto the segment but not through the segment.
This may be related to Permanent Hazards instead, but however it is implemented it should not require a tile update.

Make RPPs a bright pink
Change the colour of the RPP from a camouflaged dusky pink (same shade used to literally camouflage reconnaissance Spitfires in WWII) to a bright pink like #fa0584 to make it more visible in urban backgrounds.

Speed limit map error
I would insert the ability to see the speed limit map errors reported by users with the function to be enabled or disabled in the control panel.
This possibility, unfortunately, is only available for those who have access to the WME beta but it can be free for everyone.30 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Issue Tracker: Stop defaulting to All Issues - remember last saved filter selected
If you don't have a Pinned Save Filter, Waze should remember the last Save Filter selected rather than reverting back to "All Issues".
If I'm working on a Saved Filter, and need to refresh, it's more than likely I want to continue working on that same filter afterwards.

Notification in WME for tile build delay
If there is a delay in the tile build or the map is rolled back for some reason, please show a notification in the WME.

WME Road Types
The current classification of roads on the WME follows the road types in the USA (Freeway, Major and Minor Highways and other road types).
In Europe, but I think also in other parts of the world, the classification of roads is very different. This creates problems with editing roads, as it is difficult to adapt the WME type to the real situation.
It is necessary to revise the road classification of the WME according to the real classification of each country so that each country can edit the map in a correct and more real way.26 votesThanks for your feedback. New Permanent hazard: Check-point
In many countries, fixed check-points are installed on the road. It could be done by Police, Customs, Tax services, Weight check... and even borders.
It would be great to have those marqued on the map as permanent Hazard " Check point". It has basically the same effect of a toll booth: You often need to stop there, or a least drive through at a very reduced speed.
This would be a great safety enhancement for both drivers and those manning those check points.

Editing permissions - change request
I suggest to chane some editing pernissions as follows (the current required level is given in parenthisis):
- Giving a "narrow street" road type to a segment: 3 (1)
- Entering a TBR / TBTR (this includes difficult turn and toll road designation): 3 (1)
- Enter a turn instruction override: 3 (1)
- Delete a segment that someone else created: 3 (2)
- Create a new MTE: 4 (1)
- View RTC details (view only): 1 (4)
- View of house numbers: 1 (2)

Temporary downgrade of own editor level
I’d like to suggest in the WME a switch (perhaps in the user control panel) for downgrading the own editor level.
For example:
If I’m a level 5 Editor, but only want to edit simple streets which are only on level 1, i can switch my own editor level to something lower than 5 for this action. This would prevent myself for accidental editing more important street e.g. highways.
Compare this with an account in the IT… Even if I am an administrator… I shouldn’t be logged in always as an admin but just as a normal user with rights…21 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.
