Rodrigues commentedWe already receive points for driving and paving roads and munching, as well as editing the map. I think the 750 points are only related to the 500 map edits, and the other points aren't candies.
So besides new quests, it could be enough to isolate each of these points as different candies and have then shown as quests.
For example, show on dashboard the upcoming cookies - "123 map edits needed for next cookie" or "45KM left for next driving cookie" or "90m left for next pave cookie". For the map edits it should also give a hint on how many 500 edits already done and ready to be eaten on the map. And having each cookie slightly different for each type would be nice. Or they can be the same, but the value would tell us which type it is - 750 for editing, 100 for driving, etc. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Bruno D. Rodrigues commentedI'd like the geocache search and navigate feature a lot. Just like foursquare, just enter text (which could be a GCXXX code), click search, switch to geocache icon, pick the cache, and click navigate to that coordinate. A 2nd advanced feature would be to be aware of multiple locations on the cache (those with the coordinate for the parking space for example) and show all those locations, but i'd be happy with the simpler version first.

Only if he/she then doesn't answer it, then support should be contacted. Please unvote and someone delete this item.
An error occurred while saving the comment Bruno D. Rodrigues commentedIn my opinion new users should not be allowed to edit anything until he/she creates an account on the forum, as a mean for other editors/AM/CM's to contact back the user in case the editing is being done improperly and/or is destroying previous work.
As it is today there is no way to reach those users, unless one is lucky and find it out on the client (and he's not private), and would turn AM's into "lock everything" mode with the frustration of having the work destroyed by a newby.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.
An error occurred while saving the comment Bruno D. Rodrigues commentedThis should take in consideration the existing "red light camera", which currently is worthless (would popup on the screen but doesn't announce if we cross it at a faster speed than defined on the speed camera). What I mean is that besides giving negative weight for each intersection, it could also give negative weight to each redlight camera on the route.

An error occurred while saving the comment Bruno D. Rodrigues commentedSo I can't edit or manage the idea anymore, and the "flag as inappropriate" can't be undone, so here's some comments:
category maybe should have been "waze client - general", now that there's no separate forum for client and web.
"mandate" is "mapdate" of course.

Then we'd go back to the current situation where at a certain point there would be no more quests to do. I myself never got the 500miles in a week.
But I do like your idea to ramp up the cookies between the initial small cookies. For example, at the beginning giving already a cookie of 75 for 50 edits to promote more edits, then 150 for 100 map edits, then bump up to 300 for 200 edits, but stopping at the current 750 for 500 edits. Same for the suggested new cookies for the driving, new roads, etc, but always with a tangible objective.
I mean, with the price of the fuel these days (outside the US I mean :P), who can drive 500 miles in a week? Portugal itself is not much more than that from north to south ;)
