Currently, we can choose the navigation type of "Fastest". In my experience, this means that Waze sometimes sends you on an alternate route for a very small time savings.
I'd like to be able to set a threshold for deviating from a route. For instance, each additional 1000 feet of travel must save 2 or more minutes. Or using a smaller street must gain at least 5 minutes.
This could be presented to the user as a slider between fastest and shortest, or an advanced mode that allows one to tweak each parameter.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

This should be implemented as an option for all destinations and an option for Favorites. When I get to home or work, I don't need to put in a parking pin or whatever the other choices are. But when I go somewhere for the first time, I may want to keep Waze active.
It would also be nice to auto close when the phone is removed from a car dock, as someone else mentioned.
