An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedDefinitely agree with this one, especially when the road type changes as well. e.g. if I'm at a light on a four or six lane road and straight ahead is a two lane road with a different name, a "continue straight on xxxx road" direction would prevent confusion.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedAlso agree! Once I get to unfamiliar destination I need to go back to my navigation menu to find the address that I input, very inconvenient and also not safe when driving on narrow residential streets.

What we are aiming to do here is speed based alerters.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedMy memory says that when I started using Waze, the alert distance was longer. I agree this should be user customizable for both police and other hazards, and making it speed dependent, or longer on freeways, would be a nice feature as well.
To the poster who said "Stop speeding and putting people's lives in danger" - you do realize that it's safer to drive with the flow of traffic than to be a rock in a stream correct? And when was the last time you were on a freeway in the US where the vast majority of road users *weren't* speeding?

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedStill not working for me (2014) for reports/closures... there's a cell dead spot near me with a common speed trap and at least twice the road has been closed due to a wreck or downed power line and I've never been able to report anything. I'm not in a third world country either, I'm about 25 miles from Washington, D.C. Not sure if it's getting my drives or not but I will check next time I drive that road.

good idea, but most newer smart phones (at least android) will push these alerts to you automatically through another app.
