Thank you for this suggestion.
Setting the Car’s direction when starting the app and navigation is a known matter which will be addressed in the future.
There are many complexities in location tracking which cause this issue and hold us from providing a solution.
It’s currently on the back burner, but definitely a part of the backlog.An error occurred while saving the comment -

An error occurred while saving the comment When i start to type my destination you automatically present suggestions. The problem is that once I select one of the suggestions the search ends and i cannot add the precise street address (house number).
Why not add an option to drop the suggestion into the edit box and continue typing (just like google search allows you to continue editing)
More than 2 years has passed since this response was made and the problem still exists.
I would consider adding the 'reverse direction' button at the beginning of the ride as this really bothers a lot of the people I know.
The problem is even more severe when you park perpendicularly to the road. Since Waze guess your direction it might give you a far worse route than what it would give if the direction was oposite.
