  2. On Apple car play the map does not switch to night mode. I have to force it in to night mode by opening Waze on my iPhone whilst it’s plugge

    This would be a lifesaver for me. I have an 06 Audi A8 and my CarPlay box using the scroll wheel (no touchscreen in 06)

    You can set maps to “always dark” in the setting app on your CarPlay screen

  17. i have used waze for years, but getting a new car the speed waze shows a always off by about 35%. is there a way to correct the speed shown.

    You may have a bad GPS antenna in your car. CarPlay uses the car GPS instead of the phone’s.

    They sort of changed this recently, but now they took away critical police reporting functionality. Like reporting police on the other side or hidden.
