Action icons on left in CarPlay (US) so driver doesn’t need to reach across
Put the action icons on the left (in countries where cars are on right of road) when displaying in CarPlay so the driver does not need to reach across to use them. Notifications should appear on right instead of left.

Thanks for your feedback and apologies for any confusion. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

The car screen is getting bigger and bigger. The button Report or Routes are all the way to the right side. I have to move my body and extend my hand to focus and press. It's kind of dangerous and takes my focus off the road everytime when I tried to press it. Can it design on the left side so it's safe for us.

I found a suggestion box specifically for this issue after the latest update it’s super annoying to reach all the way to the right side bottom of the screen in order for you to put in an address why Fix what’s not broken kindly return the button to the left side, much more comfortable on the left and easily accessible

on right had drive vehicle (Australia) CarPlay display, the sport button is out of reach on vehicle with wide displays, all the way off to the left.
Can we have an option to swap layout to present them on the right along with he the shortcut a bookmark buttons.

A recent update to iOS CarPlay moved the search button to the far right of the screen. For vehicles with large screens, this is a very far reach for the driver. Please move the icon back to the left side for driver safety.

In Apple car play mode move buttons from passenger side of screen to drivers side of screen. Its harder to report hazards reaching across a full size truck cab to report hazards

Hello, I'd suggest to move the icon needed to send a new alert about any problem along the road on the left of the screen or, at least, to add a setting to decide where you prefer it. As a matter of fact, for the majority of cars, which are left-handed drive, it's more umcomfortable to reach, with your right arm, the icon on the farest side of the screen in Car Play screens!
Thanks for your attention and regards. -

I use carplay and especially when using navigation the buttons that driver uses most are further away from the drivers reach making it unsafe to access them while driving. As the displays are getting larger, the position of these critical buttons go farther away from the drivers reach. Place these action buttons closer to driver on the left hand side of the display.
Please do some safety evaluation like they do when designing aviation cockpit and controls

The latest update moved all of the buttons (including audio) to the right corner on the car play iOS head unit screen. If you're in US/Canada you have to reach across your entire head unit to hit them. This is dangerous and less intuitive than the previous version that had them in the bottom left (closest to the driver). Very poor decision by the Waze staff! Let user to control button location so I can move them back to the left side. Also, shortcuts buttons on tha main screen would help with the basic alert functions, like traffic, police, stopped car etc.

I totally agree. It seems that the waze app is designed to be used on left hand drive cars. At the moment, the icon is at the right side of the screen and even the speedometer. I have to lift my left hand from steering wheel to see. Annoying interface

It's not only right hand drivers. I have an 10' Android head unit and the car indicator is too far from my position. Having it centred or closer to the left side would make much more sense. Right now it's almost at the right border and I have to turn my head a lot instead of just glancing over.

Would be great to allow right hand drive users to flip the speedo and report button so they appear on the right hand side of the screen and hence are easier to access when using Apple CarPlay.

Have the navigation central to the screen, at present it is on my far left and being in a right hand drive vehicle makes it dangerous. Can we have the navigation in the centre and have any alerts appear top or bottom or both instead of the right side of the screen. iPhone Carplay
