I love using Waze and appreciate all the features that make driving safer and more efficient. I have a suggestion that I believe could greatly improve driver awareness and promote safer driving:
Please add an optional setting that provides a continuous audible or visual alert when the vehicle exceeds the speed limit — and continues until the driver slows down below the limit.
Currently, Waze gives a brief alert, but many drivers may ignore or miss it. A continuous reminder would create a strong tendency to slow down immediately, especially in areas with frequent speed cameras or changing speed zones.
This feature could be placed in:
Settings > Speedometer > Continuous Overspeed Alert (toggle)
Also, allowing users to customize the alert sound or volume would be even better.
Thank you for considering this idea!
