Notify if place is closed when starting a route
Google Maps will notify you when you begin a route if the place you are going to is closed. Can this function be added to Waze?
As do Google, the app should tell you if you are going to arrive at a place (which is you destination), after it has closed. Example: I want to go to a shop which closes at 7pm. I start at 6pm an itinerary which is announced to last 2h: Waze should tell me I might arrive after the closing time.
If the place is closed, and the place has hours properly set, Waze shows you that it's CLOSED before you start to navigate.
If it's closing soon, Waze will tell you the same thing before you start to navigate.
Now...opening is a different story.

Also consider if the Arrival time that the destination.
May be open when I leave but closed when I arrive.
May be closed when I leave but the Destintion will open when I arrive.
Also, "The destination will open 30min after you arrive".
Yeah, may consider the ETA. The coffee shop may be closed now, but will be open by the time I arrive.
I like this but the number of times I've found the online (google or fb) business hours to be wrong kind of defeats the purpose. I'm finding I've gone back to having to ring some places over trusting the listing (I'm sure covid hasn't helped at all either)
YanisKyr - you are correct, my apologies!
Isn't this section supposed to be about WME? This suggestion is about the app.
At least a warning "may be closed" would be nice...
