Lane Guidance on Roundabouts
When approaching a roundabout in the UK, waze will not tell me which lane I need to be in, to take my desired exit.
This is something that Google maps does so WELL! Please consider adding this on waze.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

This is now available. Waze staff haven't updated the status.

I want to put this request back on the radar - aside from larger roundabouts, there are numerous suburban ones that have two lanes in and only one lane out, and the entering lanes need LG to ensure in the correct lane as marked, depending on the turn.
A serious gap in the companion principle in my opinion. -

With the proliferation of multi-lane roundabouts, this is becoming a critical need if Waze wants to provide reliable driver guidance.

Hi,
I can't entirely agree, with the response received about it not being on the "roadmap", this feature has been requested many of many times. Many of the UK drivers/editors would appreciate the introduction of - Lane Guidance on Roundabouts, to improve the driving experience.
I do hope this feature will be introduced, soon ... !

I have been informed by a Waze employee that Lane Guidance has been disabled on roundabouts globally.
While there's certainly complexity, I believe junction boxes could be used to handle this successfully.
There are many multi-lane roundabouts in Australia and New Zealand which have turn restrictions just like any other junction. There are also often roundabouts in quick succession (particularly on highway interchanges) which require you to be in the correct lane and have limited notice and/or poor signage as to what the turn restrictions are. This is particularly the case in New Zealand where 3 and 5 way roundabouts are common, and the lane configurations vary depending on traffic flow and the road geometry.
For example, a good turn instruction for a multi-roundabout path could be something like: "At the roundabout, take the second exit, then, at the next roundabout, use the left lane to continue straight".

Multiple lane approaches to roundabouts can lead you wondering which one to pick especially if it’s 6 lanes for example. It would be good if Waze uses their arrow displays like when telling you which lanes to be in on motorways, to tell you which lane to get into for which roundabout exit.
