Give points when we "thumbs up" other hazards.
Make it less cluttered by having 10 wazers post the same hazard, or delete someones and replace it with theirs.

Show current scale on screen (cm long line with how many meters it is).
Sometimes it is hard to know if a juction is a km away or just 50 meters, specially if you're only showing map without any guidance. Autoscale makes this even more difficult.

Parking zone layer
You know the difficulties of finding a parking spot around your destination. Especially when you want to find the cheapest and not too restricted spot around your location.
I think it would be a great idea if there is a layer where you can draw parking zones. In each zone you can add a schedule wherein you can add parking time restrictions, vehicle restrictions, period when parking is free, cost per set time interval and maximum cost (for each day) and times when you're not allowed to park at all.

Add a check box for the number of people in the car and determine when to avoid HOV HOT (High Occupancy Toll) lanes and when to use them

23 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Share route and location with friends.
Give an option to share not only your route but also your location on that route with your friends. This would be a safety feature. In the event that you don't make it to your destination, your friend could see your location. This idea is inspired by the loss of a fellow student who was in a one vehicle accident on her way home to visit for the weekend. Her car ended up under a bridge and she was not found for three days. With a safety feature that allows sharing of your actual location as you follow your route…

If you could add Natural Gas to the fuel type filters that would be awesome!
Would be great to add CNG and LNG to the fuel type filter for those of us driving CNG VEHICLES.

Send directions to Mobile
Be able to send directions from your (or other sites like google maps) to my mobile. So I don't have to type my destination in on the phone.

Integrate waze un car play!
I already enjoy waze app radio mode on my Pioneer car stereo but it would be very grate to also using waze from CarPlay interface. Any plans for this?

Remove rain hazard reporting
People overuse the rain hazard report, to the point of annoyance and distraction. We get it, it's raining! Rain is not a significant enough hazard to warrant an auditory warning. At least add an option to disable certain types of hazard reports!

Put a report button on the main screen of the Android UI
The iPhone UI has a report button on the main screen... why make Android users go through the extra step of hitting Menu before going to the reporting screen? I would love to see a "report" button somewhere on the screen so it's one press, no fumbling around for the menu button.
An idea would be to place the reporting button to the right of the user icon at the top of the title bar. There's quite a bit of unused space between that icon and the GPS/internet status icon.

Use Voice Commands to log Reports with Waze on CarPlay and Android Auto
While Waze allows users to use voice via their phones to log Reports, it does not support Voice to log Reports for users of Car Play and Android Auto. The fact that these users have to use the screen and potentially take their eyes off the road to navigate menus to log a report is quite dangerous. Please help vote this up, as more vehicles are now being equipped with Car Play and Android Auto. Thank you!

Adjustable maximum speed
For enviromental reasons i drive slower than the maximum allowed speed. Would be great if you could enter your maximum speed into waze in order to adjust your ETA
21 votesGreat news! This feature is already available in Waze. It’s called Personalized ETA.
Personalized ETA setting is turned on in Settings – Navigation – Personalized ETA. Waze would analyze the drives you took in the past, calculate how long it took you to drive sections of the route, and compare this information with Waze’s estimates. Then, it uses this info to personalize your ETA whenever you search a route in Waze.
Important: Waze won’t analyze drives that you delete from your drive history. Deleting drives may disable Waze from personalizing your ETA until you take more drives.

Location services
Hello, new version (4.3.0) for iOS requires using location services always (or never). That's rude! Takes too much battery and harms user's privacy!

There is possibility to chosse your favorite fuel - but we drive on CNG and there is no way to configure this. Can you please provide this?

There should also be the possibility to choose a route with the CNG filling stations on the way because this is a specific fuel and thus not easy to find... this would be a terrific improvement!21 votesCurrently Waze app supports 4 fuel types. List of available fuel types is configurable at country level. Please contact your local map editors community for more details.

waze for motorcycle
There should be an option on waze to use motorcycle or even bikes.
I like to use waze but when I'm riding a moto it shows alternative ways to avoid traffic. The problem is that when riding moto I don't get stuck in traffic.
And if I use waze when riding I'm afraid to trick the system and send informations that there is no traffic on the road when actually there is.21 votesThank you for your suggestion! Please create an option to use Waze in invisible mode
I know there is an anonymous mode in Waze but in my area, there are not many people using Waze so unless I want people to know exactly where I am at all times, I can't use it!
I love Waze and I'd be happy to have all my information contribute to traffic info and maps for everyone else, I'd rather not appear on the map as even as an anonymous icon. Would this not be a useful addition?21 votes -

Hi, I would much prefer to use symbian touch screen keypad to write text instead of Wazes key pad which is too small and awkward to use. An option could be added to allow people to choose what they would prefer to use like in the opera browser app.

Average speed camera in IRAN
Hello waze
Recently in IRAN roads, many average speed traps are installed.
As you kbow these cameras catch not only the momentum speed but also catch the average speed between 2 cameras and in the whole road.
As you know they use SPECS (SPEed Check Services) system that use number plate recognition to measure the time taken between two fixed points to monitor a driver's average speed.
We, your greatfull application users in IRAN,
ask for activating average speed alarm in map and also in editor erea so the editors can edit and adjust it.Keep drive safely
