The setting to allow WAZE to access contacts should not be "HIDDEN" (by having to scroll up the opening page). should be in waze SETTINGS or under WAZE in iphone Settings. Instead one must go online and read where to find this setting!!

Screen Alerts South London Restrictions
Please, please provide Camera alerts for as short as one hour road entry restrictions eg in rush hour times in London. Results in PCN fines of £65. These experimental road layout changes are frequently changing (over the last 3-4 years) and the simple “Speed camera” type alerts which pop up on the screen would be really really useful! Waze plans the route well to avoid I believe, but we are sometimes tempted to ignore, thinking we know better!
As experienced London drivers know, we have favourite routes developed over a lifetime, so these time-based one or two hour restrictions are…1 vote -

Serait-il possible d’augmenter la fiabilité des alertes radar non fixe? Je me suis fais flacher à 23:20. Donc l’appareil a été placé en journée. Et il n’a pas été signaler 😩

Leave later improvement
Please work out the sorry something went wrong that happens 9 out of the 10 times I try to use the leave later function. It is vexing to have a feature that is so helpful be so unreliable. This is regardless of which network I am on

Add Completely Custom Routes
I would like the option to draw my own route. I often use Waze, not just to get places I've never been, but to time my arrival to places locally and be alerted to traffic incidents.
Overall I love Waze, but I can't use it much because it wants to "optimize" my route, which often takes me straight through dangerous construction areas (single lane concrete barrier interstate death chutes). We have a ton of construction in my area right now on almost every major road. I don't want to avoid all highways or interstates or even all of one interstate,…

Traffic status sidebar on a route
It would be very useful to add to the navigation screen, as happens with traffic jams, a bar that always shows us the traffic status on the screen, identical to the one we see when clicking on route summary but as I say, always on the screen on the same side. than that of traffic jams and that it would be updated by adding problems later without having to touch the screen to see it.

Guidage vocale ininterrompu
En france, les routes sont courtes avec de nombreux ronds points.
A de nombreux endroits, le guidage vocal parle sans interruption. En répétant parfois les consignes d'un rond point, après en être deja sorti.
Les voix spéciales ajoutent du texte d'ambiance mais je ne pense pas que ce soit nécessaire de les ajouter à chaque indication, surtout lorsque c'est un flot ininterrompu.
Mes suggestions :
1) pour chaque indication, faire une version courte et une longue. Pas plus d'une longue toutes les 3min.
2) ne pas répéter les consignes lorsque le rond point ou croisement est déjà à moins de…1 vote -
Road interdiction in Car Play and Android Auto
This week I came across a detour due to a closure of a road that was under repairs.
I looked for the option in Car Play and couldn't find it.It is impossible to drive through an unexpected situation of changing routes, diverting through a place that you are still trying to understand while disconnecting the device from the car to look for the interdiction option.

"Still There" should have a "Close Window" option
When the "Still There" window pops up in Apple CarPlay, I frequently click the button just to make the window go away which results in sending the message that the hazard is still there even if it's not. It would be helpful if the default was "Close Window".

Beep and messaging in traffic
I think bringing back the beeping and messaging functions while in traffic can be useful for drivers to talk and possibly discuss alternate routes.

Tapping on a specific position on the map should bring up a menu just like in the phone app.
When holding your finger on a position on the map, a menu should be brought up permitting you to save the address, or go to it. This is too practical to be ignored as a functionality..
